Apparently 19-year-old Yasin Demirdağ died in Yalova after falling from a height in the shipyard where he worked.
Allegedly, occupational safety experts wanted to apply a new belt on Demirdağ's dead body.
When the colleagues of the deceased worker reacted, a fight broke out.

35 workers were dismissed at Sefine Shipyard, which came to the fore when the attempt to put a seat belt on the lifeless body of Yasin Demirağ, who lost his life in a work murder, was prevented by his colleagues.

Company HQ staff arrived at the Body before Medics and Police and wanted to attach Security Gear on the dead body to make it look like it was attached from the beginning in order to avoid a law suit.

The other workers sensed that and wanted to prevent the staff from attaching Gear post mortem and got in to a fight with the Staff from HQ.
The Workers involved were apparently fired, not the Staff from HQ.

They literally punished workers instead of the guys who wanted to manipulate a dead body, which shows how they are sure that there wont be any repercussions for them.

Let me disagree with you a bit! I don't think milden without VLS would be lackluster. It is possible to achieve serious firepower without VLS. ( for example british astute. )

It is likely that for turkish navy, not adding VLS on milden has more to do with the doctrine rather than naval industrial capability. I think TN want milden to be a dedicated SSK platform rather than having the duel role of SSGK with a significant long range land attack capability. This job probably better suited for TF2000 class destroyer in the theatre amred with a good number of long range gezgin. Even though Milden will be able to fire gezgin from its torpedo tube however, it would be insufficient in number.

In a nutshell, Milden is a very capable platform for TN. It will have 25 to 50 percent increase in underwater endurance over the type214TN with more AIP fuel cells and new generation lithium ion batteries. and also gain similar increase in payload capacity compared to type214's 16 weapons to 20 or 24 weapons in total. And of course it will more advanced and bigger sensor suite and more stealthy feature with non magnetic hull and other capability. So overall, it is a good, sensible design with credible capabilities. ( and more comparable with the new TYPE212CD )

Comparing to existing capabilities is not good enough, Milden must include every capability that Turkish industry can provide in it.

Yep, unfortunately shipbuilding industry in TR has no good reputation for workplace safety. Between 2000 - 2010 there has been many incidents, some remained hidden - coverer by paying the families, firing whomever speaks, some surfaced as they were too reckless. As works gets intense, such incidents occur more often.

But shipyards likes Sefine should be more careful in this since it gets to be important for the reputation when they compete for exports. And that cover up was individually done by the work place safety officer and the company he was affiliated with ( they are usually contract employers hired from worker's safety companies ), he or his company attempted that to save his ass, he will, should, be the one who is taken into custody along with the field manager of the shipyard.

One of the reasons of such incidents happening all the time without any legal retaliatory action towards employers and companies at large is because of a lack of a whistleblower protection program or law.

As well as Barbaros frigates going through major and extensive half life upgrades program that will enhance their combat capabilities, the Preveze Class Submarines are also being subjected to serious upgrades.
Barbaros frigates, currently the most modern and effective combatants among our surface fleet, are going through an upgrade program that will improve their communication, sensor and combat capabilities drastically. When completed by 2026, these 4 ships together with the 4 Istanbul class frigates will form the back bone of our modern surface combat fleet.
Preveze Class subs too are being modernised and upgraded to become more capable. They will be able to use heavy torpedoes that will have further ranges. They will have much better sensors and communication arrays to allow these subs to communicate without having to come too close to surface. These upgrades will impart capabilities to the subs to improve their self preservation and combat effectiveness. At the moment the second submarine is being modernised and once all four boats are done the first boat, TCG Preveze will go back for further upgrades that were missing at the initial work. Once all the indigenously made upgrades are completed by 2024, these 4 submarines will be joining the fleet to carry out their duties.
