Only with indigenous engines, not before."This is how the road to independence is drawn! "
Thanks.TÜBİTAK BİLGEM delivered the Integrated Processor Unit (IPU) and Avionic Interface Unit (DCU) prototypes to be used in the MMU, which is planned to leave the hangar on March 18, 2023, to #Tusaş on August 25.
Within the scope of the Integrated Processor Unit Project, where all hardware and software are developed locally and nationally; There are many critical technologies such as the new multi-core version of the National Real Time Operating System, Deterministic Network Technology, Avionic Digital Video Bus, High Speed Multi-Core Processors.

I nearly got a heart attack man, woohjust kidding
USA, Russia, GB, France, China, Sweden, S.Korea, Japan, all have aviation industry.Mr Ismail Demir: "When MMU comes into play, Turkiye will be among the top-5 in aviation."
Not 5th genUSA, Russia, GB, France, China, Sweden, S.Korea, Japan, all have aviation industry.
Swedwn and S.Korea rely on US subsystems and engineering help. Japan did too however their first completely indigenous project is advancing rapidly and is 5 gen. However if Turkey can really mass produce KE and TFX with high indigenous rate and propulsion systems it would definitely be only the 6th country in the world able to do this and probably on the top 3 in terms of engineering skills only behind US and UK.USA, Russia, GB, France, China, Sweden, S.Korea, Japan, all have aviation industry.
I.Demir said, it’s about aviation industry at all. Answered a question of the reporter, if he just means 5. Generation Jets. Not 5th gen

But the percentage is very different. They rely on US Subsystem as we do. High indigenous rate on our plane doesn’t mean we are autarke. We got helped from Sweden, US and France also.
Agree. What about Japan, S.Korea, Sweden. Or even Israel (regarding on capabilities)? But the percentage is very different.
Ours would be more comparable or better than Indian AMCA
Japan and UK work together, nothing solid RN but their design looked like TF-X from Farnborough.Agree. What about Japan, S.Korea, Sweden. Or even Israel (regarding on capabilities)?
Only US has ongoing participation in Turkish aviation industry with partnerships in TEI and Alp Aviation. We got helped from Sweden, US and France also.
