Oğuzhan Uygun is not a profile like some anonymous accounts (Turkish fact for example) who write stupid things based on their own imagination. Since he does not have enough technical knowledge about the defense industry, his statements can sometimes be unnecessarily exaggerated, but his sources are defense industry sites and defense forums that we already use. In fact, he is not an analyst who basically writes opinion assessments; he has taken on the role of compiling and transmitting news. (Hermes, for example, is seen by many as an AKP supporter, but what he does is translate from foreign media.)
The profile that gets it right is the Boogeyman(karabasan). Happily, he also writes in the forum. He has very clear style and avoids manipulative statements and cites references for everything he says. Twitter is not an academic environment, of course, but very few people are as sensitive as Karabasan about citing sources.
I have been following Oğuzhan Uygun for a few years. His profile was mostly about factory and facility investments in the industrial field in the country, but recently he seems to have developed a special interest in the defense industry. While there is an extraordinary momentum in the defense industry, people on twitter with this profile cannot exclude themselves from this. The followers of such accounts may be overwhelmingly pro-AKP, but I think this is a matter for another sociological evaluation.
