Well i just found out, never know before we have such a plan. You mean submarine tender vessel LPD from PT PAL chartInteresting, never heard abt this before.
The Banda Aceh LPD sub-class is the direct successor of this project I think.

That ship is from the 80sThis one?
The ship will be about 143 meters long, 21.5 meters wide and it will be able to accommodate about 550 persons on board, equipped with two vehicle ramps and an internal floodable dock, capable of accommodating a ready-to-go LCM (Landing Craft Mechanized) that can also be stored on garage deck, and can be deployed using a system of davits. Furthermore, the flight deck is sized for hosting NH90 helicopter.
Another unique feature of this LPD is the fact it is fitted with two 8-cell VLS Sylver A50 for medium-range surface-to-air missile system which MBDA has indicated as the Aster 30 Block 1 munitions as part of the SAAM-ESD air-defence system. Although Fincantieri hasn’t released information or commented the AAW capabilities of the LPD, the combination of the MBDA SAAM-ESD with Aster 30 Block 1 missile system, the Leonardo Kronos AESA multifunction radar and the early-detection information from the Kronos Power Shield, all together can provide tactical ballistic missiles defense as similarly offered by the ground-based SAMP/T but with enhanced capabilities, Naval News understood.
Fincantieri Lays Keel of Qatar's Air Defense LPD - Naval News
The keel laying of the amphibious vessel (LPD – Landing Platform Dock) ordered to Fincantieri by the Qatari Ministry of Defence within the national naval acquisition program, took place at the Palermo shipyard.www.navalnews.com
No, your pic shows a proposal from the 1980s on an heli carrier/landing ship hybrid. The Banda Aceh (for me) looks like a natural successor to that design, with emphasis on more aviation deck and landing capabilities. Although clearly Banda aceh/ Banjarmasin clearly lack aircraft hangar in the hull.Well i just found out, never know before we have such a plan. You mean submarine tender vessel LPD from PT PAL chart
The closest thing to a hint was that mock up PT. PAL showed on IndoDefense 2022.any hints for AH140 specs?

We are going to adapt Babcock design and their advice which is 140m not PT PAL Frankenstein 143m so most likely we will follow this recipe with a slight add on weaponries depend on what suits us but still under Babcock recipe
I pray the same. And no brahmos please
Tho only 32 VLS at best practice.I pray the same.
Why did they limit the ssm with 8 canister, while the Poland has 16 launcherView attachment 50273 View attachment 50274
