Fact is, when you have a combat proven platform, everybody is going to try to copy it.

Copying frame design is one thing, making exact same capability is another.
For example, put tb2 alternatives in the sandstorms of gulf countries, can they operate 24h hours relentlessly. I do not think so.

The question here is why are they copying combat proven platforms in general

IMO, it is about the costs and time. When it comes to military hardware, the price of developing top quality effective and effecient products is both time and money. When some weapons are proven to be effective, other companies copy the outer platform in order to save both time and money! It is really difficult to develop novel new planes after all; Baykar TB2 is the result of decades and decades of work and research

Many new prominent Turkish weapons are copies of famous western proven weaponry; the TFX, for example, is a copy of the F22 and F35. The Rafale and Typhoon are nearly brother and sister in design. Indian AMCA is a F35 copy along with the Korean KF-21 is the F35 little brother! Even the Russian Su-57 is a copy of the F22; i-e, the similarities it has with the F22 is bigger than the similarities it had with previous Sukhoi fighter jets

And yes! This is just how difficult it actually is to provide or even devise an idea or a weaponry that can shape the future of warfare and yes this is exactpy what Baykar did

When it comes to developing really cheap drones that can fly; then the TB2 is the primary design of choice. However, as @Brokengineer just said, it is an altogether different matter to develop the software and engines etc...
