A helicopter crashed yesterday evening in Duhok, Northern Iraq, killing seven. As per the photos from the crash site, it was a AS350 Ecureuil and as per the preliminary KRG report, it carried PKK militants. Iraqi Government is the only user of the type in the region as per open sources, which makes me believe they have some questions to answer.
This video is interesting, as a munition(?) is visible being cooked off possibly due to heat. This might be a rocket or a flare gun that went off. Less chance of it being a rocket as the bird was already at capacity with 7 occupants.

The helicopter was apparently French in origin.
In Hakkari, terrorist in the orange category were neutralized in the cave where they were detected. He was put in a body bag.
