Afif is right, and so am I. It is ready.
"The Serial Production Project also includes the phase of fire tests with the SOM and ATMACA. These tests, which are expected to be conducted in the coming period, "

Look, if i'm wrong i would be happy. Just prove me wrong so that we can finally know how many years have passed instead of 4 years. As if it would make a great difference between 10 or 11 years.

Osman Okyayu explained why they finished in 10 years, ther was no companies who could make the parts for KALE in Turkey. So they invested, and that costed 10 years. From electronics to materials...

I also, work in the private sector. If we had delayed the schedule by 6 years, we could never find any work.

And your post get like 10 like...... this forum has Turned into "Turkey strong" propaganda.

It’s important to not dismiss the criticism, but take it to heart and do better at communicating. Communication and PR are the same and as you guys may have noticed we pretty much suck at it. If projects are delayed it’s important to say we got delayed due to external factors and will solve it with internal ressources.
Yeah, people here remind of Iranians whom vigorously defended a cardboard abomination of Qaher 313.

Like, what's the point of being an apologist for a company that has failed to keep it's promise to state / army.

guys lets be honest, when the project started in 2010, Turkey thought they will be able to import some parts and probably recieved promises from west which we know how it ends. However, no need to be sad for that, every single of these early project that got busted by others to make it look like Indian Kaveri project, however now you can build hundred of them on your own which is huge. Turkey at that time didnt even had the metals to build an engine which was develop during the 10 years and now it helps with KE or TFX engine

Also should be noted; It is done in 10 years because they have spent years on building infrastructure and know-how, which was available in other companies or institutes.

The matter is that everyone seeks to be a hero at the end of the day without sharing the credit, that is delaying some projects eventually so that they are sole one accomplishing it.

You are old enough to remember the sign of the RFP when SSB was SSM.

What sensitive technology was about to come from abroad but didn't, what "kind of equipment they did invest which nobody have"? You should remember the RFP, there no such clauses. They promised to deliver in 4 years and they simply couldn't.

Now, you guys say let's give the engine of TF-X to Kale&RR. What are you gonna say if RR pulls out in the middle of the development or Kale shows a similar impotence. Are you again going to be an apologist for them while development of the project takes 30 years ?

P.S: From the timestamp you placed i watched a little bit. Guy says, we are using better materials than our counterparts so our engines lifecycle is better....... i'm like what the fuck, you are only using this engine for 15 minutes than it crashes with the missile, what lifecycle you are talking about.... every other micro jet engine uses simple material for being cost effective.

They should have given the project to TEI at the first place.

Dear members, keep the language of the forum civil and refrain from being confrontational.

You don't now the contract what kind agreement ther is signed first of all. So left that alone, second if you asked to me i would eliminate RR and go full with TEI. Every day we didn't started the project is a lost or every day we started the project is victory. Cruisemissile engines should KALE workshare.

The 2028 timeline is impossible, plain and simple. Mr. Akşit is a bidder of the tender for the MMU indigenous engine and it's natural in the competition that they claim fantastical things; I don't find fault with that. I think everyone would have a much better time of it if they brought their expectation quite a bit lower in regards to the MMU engine. I'd be the happiest person in the world if it's developed by 2035 (provided, first of all, that it works and second of all, it has all the minimum requirements of a 5th gen turbofan.)

Technology has advanced, supercomputers have appeared, metallurgy and materials science have advanced. But we are going to do it for the first time, how many countries in the world can do it? Japan, India, Korea, China and even Russia are still trying. I wish this TF6000 had been finished or built. Then we would have been able to talk much more easily, but I believe we will do it eventually. Tei's experience in this field is our advantage over other countries.

The most important thing for Turks is to have the platform to display their skills. For many decades Turks who had brains could find no opportunity in Turkiye to utilise their skills. Now their are positions for intelligent and capable Turks to get to work. Japan had this opportunity for her citizens for the past 100 years, we are only now in a position where if a child has dreams to design fighter jets he can realistically find work in Turkiye to do it.

Bro, don't you remember, we used to watch Savunma Sanayi Müsteşarlığı's website everyday, to see if there is an request for propasal. All the terms used to list there. It was much transparent at those days. When the system changed, they changed it's name to presidency and removed all the Rfps from their page.

I mean come on man, we know each other for like 10-11 years.
