Internet started to talk about "7 Russian generals were eliminated with one hit!"
It is related to HIMARS launched on 30.03 evening and target was russian military command center in Melitopol.

I start searching but only come about this youtube post.
Anybody have any info about this major hit done by Ukraine army?

1. Just for info. This specific trench on this open field was Ukraine trench until 29.03 when russians in the video came and attack the trench. On 30.03 Ukraine army came back to retake this lost trench and as you can see from this video Ukraine 2 tanks and 1 BTR able to kill this putin soliders in the trench and retake back lost position.

There is no logic. Putin army are proven rapist, sadists, torturers............. they are no normal people, they do not understand what they are doing at all.

Ukraine is purchasing 100 KTO Rosomak, armored personnel carriers from Poland. Ukraine is using discretionary funding provided by the U.S. and the EU to facilitate the purchase. Exact cost related details have not been released, however, the units cost ranges between $2.5-4.0 million usd, which means with maintenance packackages included, I'd expect the deal to come in somewhere in the $400-$450 million usd range.

No timeline for delivery has been discussed, but the expectation is that at least some percentage of the APCs will be built from scratch prior to being sent. This is the second large purchase Ukraine has made from Poland since the outset of the conflict. In June, 2022, Poland sold Ukraine 60 Krab, 155mm howitzers, which cost Ukraine $700 million.

The KTO Rosomak represents yet another example of Ukraine getting away from outdated and underperforming Russian made gear, in favour of Western / European supplied "equivalents". Ideally, KTO Rosomaks, Strykers and Kirpis will replace lost Soviet made APCs. Bradleys, Marders and CV90s will replace lost BMP-1s and BMP-2s. Leopard 2's and Abrams M1A1/2s will replace T-72s and T-64's. Eventually, we'll likely see Mig-29s, Su-27s, Su-25s and Su-24s replaced by F-16s and Dassault Rafales.

That's a reasonable take by Milley. Russia has north of 300,000 military personnel in the occupied regions of Ukraine, The West would have to be training 3-4x more Ukrainian personnel and commit to doing so for multiple years, in order for Ukraine to produce the necessary manpower to simply push the Russians out using brute force. Now, let's say the collective West made the collective decision that they were going use $500-$700 Billion USD over the next 12 months to help ensure a Ukrainian victory, that might be a different story. But I'm talking these kinds of commitments of modern'ish equipment...

That's just a sampling of the type and volume of equipment that Ukraine would need to fight a multi-pronged offensive that would stretch Russia to the max and force them into a substantial chance of being overrun if they refused to retreat. I just don't see the will power from the West / NATO to make it happen at this point. We're happy to help Ukraine not lose, and ruin Russia financially in the process, but we'd have to gear up to war time type production and spending if we wanted to help the Ukrainians push the Russians out using blunt force. I don't see the political will power to make that happen.

I don’t think Rafales are in the cards. If Ukraine gets any French planes, it will get the Mirage 2000.

I think the West has chosen a slower approach where equipment flows in small steps and gets adjusted based on the battlefield results. NATO doesn’t want to make Ukraine‘s army stronger than most NATO countries. I think they will be helped to recover the lost territory, but with smaller steps.

The slower approach has many advantages from a NATO perspective:
- Minimal costs for defeating the Russians
- Most cost effective strategy as the Russians are allowed to have their own offensives that cost them lots of manpower and equipment with lower losses for Ukraine
- A longer conflict that will bankrupt Russia more and will make the political situation more difficult for Putin and his cronies
- Less strain on Western countries that are donating equipment, because the donations are made over a longer period of time and are easier to be absorbed both from a military and economic perspective

While in the end, we may end up with the big numbers you mentioned in your post, they won’t come at the same time for a grand offensive, but they will be drip fed during a longer period of time. The result may be the same, in the sense that Ukraine will recover its territory, but the war will last longer with more damage on the Russian economy, while being easier to manage for Western countries.

"Rosomak is a licensed copy of the Finnish armored personnel carrier Patria, developed in 2001.It was used in the war in Afghanistan. In total, 670 such armored personnel carriers have been produced so far."
They were quite good in Afghanistan, troops were happy.

Some are equipped with Spike ATGM but we all know Israel wont let Spike to be used against russia, so Ukraine will get version without it.
And I dont think they would get new ZSSW30 turret.
