I dont think it will ever happen.
Considering they are gone as far as to create an air wing for PKK(internationally recognized terror organization) giving Patriots to KRG will be justifable easily.
After all, that is the plan of the US,form a unity between the factions.

Yes but it will also be justifiable and easier for us to eliminate them all at once.
Then,we would be fighting an army,no more pockets of terrorists to hunt.
It is better for us when they are united to one entity, dont you think?
After all, thats the goal of the US(unite them).

And if they get US protection?

This is bad, whichever way one looks at it.

That doesnt matter,if national security is at risk nothing else matters.
In Syria they also had US protection, what happened there?
They cannot threaten us with embargos anymore.

Best way to fight and have the upper hand in any battle or war is to be able to slap your opponent in any way you want when they don’t have hands and arms to defend themselves with. In all Northern Syrian Turkish interventions, be it against Daesh or YPG/PKK or Syrian Regime Forces, this has been the case. With UCAVs we dominated over them and slapped them in any way we wanted. Same happened in Karabagh. Armenians did not have a response to the TB2s and Azerbaijani UCAVs and loitering munitions.

When you have a regular army or a force that has defence equipment that is technologically on par with what you are hitting them with; then you may find it not so easy to beat or overwhelm their defences and defeat them. It may be costlier than originally planned.

Although it is logical and true to think that fighting against a regular army is more advantageous than having to fight an irregular war against rebels, terrorists and guerrillas ; to have the upper hand quicker and more decisively, one must have the technological lead in equipment and related fighting platforms.

And if they get US protection?

This is bad, whichever way one looks at it.
I agree with @TR_123456 . If your mind is made up and it is your national security in the line, then nothing else matters. We did that in the last Northern Syria operation until the time when Trump sent his vice President to stop us. That is when our resolve faltered. We should not have stopped until a complete 30km buffer zone was established. (YPG were in the process of being annihilated from the North once and for all)

diplomatically speaking under this "new Turkiye" it would not surprise me if the PKK end up getting F35's.

How much does the common Turk have to see and experience before he realises the agenda against him and his family?

and lets not trivilise what the USA is doing in the region, they are creating a PKK army to potentially one day kill you and your family.

When citiziens of Turkiye die under a PKK attack like the most recent one in istanbul, their media already trivilise and try to justify the terrorism by "human rights issues" against Kurds. So your deaths are rejoiced by these people, celebrated even.

Now as long as our politicians behave stupid and cowardly they will continue to take the piss.

If we cannot do anything to protect ourselves against Russian games in Syria, while Russia is literally burying herself over her own stupidity in Ukraine. Then its impossible to think this incompetent government, this so called new Turkiye will achieve anything against the USA in Syria and Iraq.

The US knows we have the upperhand in any case,it just wants to use the tools(KRG,PKK) as an expendable distraction when needed.
The advantage of defeating a regular army is that there wont be much left to fight.
Whatever you guys think of it being against Iran,i dont buy it.
My country is the ultimate goal but im sure they already know its no more possible, they are to late.

The KRG are not the PKK, the problem here is Iran. I'm not sure how this is devolving into a "YPG/PKK state with advanced weaponry that Erdogan won't fight" discussion.

You are right about our faillure of finishing it because of ''fear''(embargos, sanctions etc).
There is no killer mentality, always overthinking everything despite knowing current relations and negative attitude towards us.
Why not go all in and finish it,why the chicken mentality, embargos and sanctions are already there?
Always this backtrackking everything.
We should have had a Putin, things would have been different now.

Putin means control through criminal networks and erosion of ALL institutions in society. It means traditionalist propaganda masking the massive degeneration of society. Rule by banditry. A de facto abolition of democracy, which even our beloved president would not even attempt. So no thanks.

What we need is an Ecevit or Demirel. Or the best scenario: a second Atatürk.

The americans/EU are basically taking the boiling frog approach to Turkiye while also implementing a carrot and stick approach. Do this and we sanction you, dont do that and we let you have fighter jets, use those fighter jets against PKK and we wont sell you parts etc etc etc.

When Turkiye finally moved on western syria, when the americans pulled back to give land to the Russians against us, so that the PKK could survive. We had the american military threaten to hit our military and we had trump threatening us.

Remember the closer the PKK agenda comes to fruition the more real it becomes that the USA would attack us. They had to pull back during the letter bin incident because the project was not mature enought, but eventually when it is mature enough the americans will attack Turkiye to protect their terrorist colony.

As Turks we keep sleeping, we keep bahaving stupid and we are losing because of it.

PAY ATTENTION TURKS, whoever is in the power in the USA the agenda has not changed. The international media all push the exact same narratives against Turkiye, it does not change. We are facing an international agenda here against Turkiye that intends to destroy our nation eventually.

If we continue to ignore the PKK threat, eventually you will be facing the american military directly. And lets not carried away the most imperial nation on earth today is the USA.

Always remember when Turkiye was the only nation on earth to have the balls to confront Russia when we downed their instigating jet. Overnight the international media and the most disgraceful NATO cowards were screaming "kick Turkiye out of NATO". They turned us into the enemy overnight. Russia become an honest broker and someone's whose word carried more integrity then NATO ally Turkiye.

Russia who even was sending her jets to england and spain to intimidate these nations, all of the sudden become mr honest guy when they tried it with Turkiye, who even warned them that if they continue to do it their jets will be shot down.

Tomorrow if they have to attack us, the narrative will shift within a moment and the zombies of the west whose media operates no different then how they imagine it in Russia or China, will parrot what they are influenced to parrot.

I'm really confused right now. If you are suggesting a Fidan presidency, I think we would be better off with something like that. Assuming he somehow fixes the demographics and corruption.

Hakan Fidans performance has been terrible. Under his watch the nation filled with FETO. The Syrian fiasco. Coup taking place, looking as stupid as putin looked recently when wagner moved on him and he didnt even have a clue it was conspiring in the background.

Then what about his leaked recordings? Head of intelligence being spied and he didnt know about it until it was released on the internet.

Fidan would be a disaster as he has been as an intelligence head.

What i gathered about him suggesting Putin was that when Putin commits he's all in. You wouldn't see Putin commit and then a few days into it backdown and run away like erdogan did countless times over Syria.

The mistake Putin made is that the reality or rather the facts on the ground were completely different to what his associates were feeding him. This is best represented by his Ukraine disaster.

Is there a reason that we are harboring and protecting Hezbollah terrorists that side with Assad? Is damaging relations with Israel important ?

The EU has already placed sanctions on Kosovo, including halting a large part of its economic aid, and has threatened more measures if Kurti does not back down.

This is where Turkiye comes in.

Eu is scoring an own goal.
