Wonder which Turkish UAV users use which FLIR(Wescam, Hensoldt, Aselsan) on their drones. Could be a great little OSINT project for future reference. I miss having free time.
Has anyone seen anything about the actual cost of the agreement?
There is no information about it except for being a lot.Has anyone seen anything about the actual cost of the agreement?
so... 20 mil confirmed?Haluk Bayraktar talked about the cost of the AKINCI UCAV for the first time
Haluk Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA'nın maliyetine ilk kez değindi
BAYKAR Genel Müdürü Haluk Bayraktar, AKINCI TİHA'nın birim maliyetine ilk kez değindi. AKINCI TİHA, Bayraktar TB2'den 10 kat daha fazla adam/saat gerektiriyor.www.savunmasanayist.com
"According to Bayraktar, the AKINCI TUAV requires 10 times more man/hours than the Bayraktar TB2 and has a cost four times higher than the Bayraktar TB2."
Doubt TB-2's production cost is 5 mil. But if we take it as he was talking about the public price of TB-2, yeah around that I guess.so... 20 mil confirmed?
He is probably talking about flyaway prices so more or less it is confirmed.so... 20 mil confirmed?
It would make much more sense to use the modified Anka-3 with twin engines to operate the drones. 2 X TEI TF-6000 is suitable. That system can carry a 4-person drone operator team.-In the rear is a Hurjet light jet, which I think will have direct access to UCAVs over second pilot.
Turning a drone into a manned plane is not as easy as just throwing few seats in there, especially not one that also happens to be a flying wing. That would have to be completely new plane, not a modified drone. It would make much more sense to use the modified Anka-3 with twin engines to operate the drones. 2 X TEI TF-6000 is suitable. That system can carry a 4-person drone operator team.
Hürjet makes no sense. If we will operate that stealth fleet with non-stealth aircraft, they'll laugh at us.
Here all platforms are shown in one frame, but this is not what I was trying to explain. That's why I qualified the Hürjet as the third group. This aircraft will not be long-range in terms of mission radius anyway. But its lifting capacity of around 3 tons and relatively good installed power can make it an important bridge platform between deep strike drones and operational command-control. UCAVs will already have wide mission autonomy capabilities, so in a way, Hurjets can work like mini AEW-Cs, or, as an electronic warfare aircraft like EA-18G and so. This is an aircraft for which we don't have to wait five years for congressional approval. So I think it's not a very utopian point of view that it can become whatever is needed from this range.Hürjet makes no sense. If we will operate that stealth fleet with non-stealth aircraft, they'll laugh at us.

If one manages to keep the operator aircraft far, FAR away from op zone, using Hurjet to control stealth UCAV's as a concept is feasible.Hürjet makes no sense. If we will operate that stealth fleet with non-stealth aircraft, they'll laugh at us.
No high power turboprop beyond 200HP for TB-2/Akinci, no TF-6000 or OZGUR AESA serial production in sight, no quality visuals on par with Wescam series, who knows what compromises were granted to UAE and KS for the funds, F-110's still in the gray, despite Sweden's accession which was for dead EU bid? (LMAO). Who will do an about face on the terms like Finland. W Meanwhile China just recently began implementing the WS-15 after all those years, and they report themselves it's subpar to the JSF in every way. Yeah, I'm thinking the TF-X serial production is ready by 2028 with the TF-35000.
0 of the 7 points made were addressed. Oh by the way we just recently began trialling our own steel for use in armored vehicles. You are not even worth the effort lol
