this is a great example of arab racisms against turks

look at berekets of AKP islam devleti at the 100th anniversary of our republic Saudi Arabia brought the iconic Galatasaray vs Fenerbahçe football match then banned Turkish national anthem and Atatürk's banner. after 20 years look where this Muhamediyan devlet this islami Hükümet has brought us

islamist how does it feel to stand right in front of your din qardaşlar then to get down on you knees and do what they have you to do ??? back, forward, back forward. how many time have you done this ?? wont you get tired ?? before coup they are our din qardaşlar after the coup they became coup plotters and PKK supporters now agian get down on you knees and back, forward, back forward .....

you ruined the 100th anniversary of our republic. this motherland never saw such a traitor like you
from time of Erbakan all the way to your dünya lideri turkey has become a country that any 3rd worlder would piss up on it while its leaders will thank them in return this is a example of Garson devleti. Gadhafi piss on Erbakan in 90s while Garson Erbakan wouldn't dare to say anything similarly your dünya lideri being piss up on by Gulf countries while you cant do anything except censoring the truth from public hell you cant even make a failed state like Somali to answer for killing Turkish citizen

Can't wait for the fossil fuel era to end just to see these countries come to the brink of collapse. They can act like as if they have a plan b and c for that near future. They don't. Overnight they will turn from rich countries into another Yemen.

That is a bit exaggeration. They do have national anthems and flags. Although they don't have any figure like Ataturk in recent history.

My point was clear there, I am not speaking literally.

Turns out, they don't actually have anthem made by their own but gifted in 1950s, and no lyrics until 1980s.

There are things in the Turkish people that go beyond rivalry or enmity. The Arabs have/had to learn this the hard way; you don't have a flag, an anthem or Atatürk, and you won't comprehend or have any of these.

It is becoming a circus that people are saying the anthem was banned, they banned pictures and banners and uniforms depicting Atatürk and this is not a foreign policy issue, it is an internal political football.

While I disagree with this, Saudia Arabia has not allowed posters or pictures depicting leaders as a show of politics at their football stadiums previously as far as I can tell from a quick Google.

That this dives straight into Turkish/Arab emnity on social media is just telling me that there are problems at home. The two football teams must have known about this in advance, why play a Turkish cup abroad? Money 💰.

This is just the drama of the week to distract from more important problems.

Also lol

And i am not buying an Arab's words, sorry for that. As far as i have read they have not permitted Anthem earlier but that was 'negotiated'. I can't accept that a Country's motto 'Yurtta sulh, Cihanda sulh' is interpreted as political figure.

Taking this is a reference one also may claim that nothing has happened there ever it was merely technical;

I haven't been able to find a source on the anthem thing. I think it's fiction because it sounds so unlikely. Banning an anthem?

This seems to be the crux of it. Stupid for hosting the game outside of TR, stupid for thinking the game wouldn't include politics, especially on the centennial.

Here it is. Started with FB talking about posters and tshirts and followed by GS speaking about the anthem. Most of these are circulating unofficially, looking at the official announcements it was all 'technical'.

Of course every incident like this becomes a huge issue in domestic politics. Why doesn't anyone ask why the Turkish football federation didn't look at the terms of the agreement?

I wonder if there will be a monetary penalty over a breach of contract. According to this news, Saudi Arabia is demanding 40 million dollars:

It is serious enough that Erdogan is involved. Or maybe Erdogan wants it to be serious that he gets involved:

Hello again, the man who destroyed the economy - it's about Gaza:

And this, is just stupid:

Was all this done by purpose in TR?
