Guys, somebody should tell TSK to get its shit together and start procuring anti-drone systems en masse right now!

We have confirmed FPV attacks against bases in Syria from yesterday and today. We are not in these times where we are talking about possibilities anymore. The rats are already targeting us with the nightmare of weapon everybody is talking about. TSK must react NOW!
When u say anti-drone , u mean anti jamming ? Then Turkiye already have good anti drone jamming systems .
About Anti drone Sams like korkut we have little like 40 , but we have alot of oerlikon 35mm (120) and some (400) 20mm that Turkey have been upgrading them with radar but how good they work agasit small drones , i dont know .

What I am talking about is at least Aselsan Sahin integrated Aselsan IHTAR system in ALL of the bases in Syria.

Help us understand the size of this problem; When we count current and potential future bases, including temporary bases (Geçici üs bölgesi) and such, how many bases do we need to supply with these preventive systems? Ofc we can't have an exact number but is it 500? A thousand?

There are ~180 bases (not exact number) in 10-12 kilometer proximity of enemy territory in Syria, not counting the border posts. Base areas bordering Ayn Issa, Kafr Nabl, Saraqib, Aleppo, Tal Rifat and Manbij must be given priority and this must be sorted out urgently. The design of the FPVs is low cost, mass produced Russian design. The problem here is that we can't even do a preemptive strike because these are stored in Russian depots before distribution so counter-measures are must!

@TheInsider After reading about Ukraine's recent SAM ambushes with Patriot batteries where they covertly set up one or two launchers several dozen km forward from the radar with fiber cables and then catches Russian jets off guard, I wonder if SIPER battery has the same flexibility where launchers, radars and C2 nod can be set up dozens of km apart from each other connected through cables to cover longer ranges and larger areas?

Tuzla Class are poorly armed. If you think on the size of the boat.
Tuzla class intented an ASW on coastal waters,of mainyl islands sea,thats why she does not even carry any torpedo which can not make good performance.

to hit FAC ,Tuzla has 40 mm guns but since its anti submarines , it needs good anti submarine sonar , long range depth charges while it has short range ones
working on it to extend range of rocket assited depth charge by two fold

Tuzla Class has long range 2D passive air radar and twin forty gun which were the best for air defense in the 60ies.
Sungur, UMTAS, MAR-D combination will suit. I watched YouTube video how Tuzla class conducted Antiair training. Because they will be first target in case of war.

This is what we call distributed architecture. Siper elements can even be deployed 100km away from each other without a problem.

@Yasar_TR , this video let me think on a higher speed than Mach 2.2
Most of the time max speed and mean speed are miss quoted. Mean speed is found when you divide the flight distance by flight time. It includes non-propelled flight after the rocket motor burnout. the max speed, as the name suggests, is the highest speed achieved at any moment during the flight, most of the time just after the rocket engine burnout.

Those 2 values can change engagement to engagement as engaging a target 5km away at an altitude of 1km will be different than engaging a target 8km away at an altitude of 4km.
