Don't think it's the case. This was most lrobably organized by A ericans/Israelis in order to disrupt turkey russia connections. That's why the Z logo was used. So this is similar to the killing of the ambassador but now instead of Feto they used Pkk.

Not very plausible to me. Israel has enough trouble. The Wests turn more and more their back to Israel. They are very close to a full war with Iran. They are still fighting Hamas and Hezbollah. Now, opening a new war front, against the most powerful Army in that region, sounds not very logical to me.
Second, a single attack with 4 or more deaths will not disturb the relationship with Russia. Even a “Z” attack, can’t do this.
Btw, I don’t like the idea, that pkk has half dozen advisors. Pkk is not that stupid, that they start every an attack, if their masters want this so.

You might be right on some points but don't forget that Americans are never too busy to do sneaky small attacks on turkiye. Also since its now known they were pkk members it is also known where pkk get most of their orders from. Another possibility would be Iran but in the situation they are rn it doesn't make any sense.

We can speculate anything, such as Armenians doing it because they want to cause a rift between Russia and Türkiye, or Israel doing it because Erdoğan won't shut his mouth with his empty threats.

None of that matters. The fact is that we couldn't defend our most important defence company. The problem is purely internal. We can't blame external forces for our inability to protect one of our most crucial facilities.

Let’s imagine that US gave the advice. It is very clear that this attack will give Türkiye the necessary intention to attack north Syria and make the long waiting 50km corridor on our border. Not very in US interest.
About Iran, in the next days or weeks, it could be come in serious trouble. Not to mention, if D. Trump win the election. Türkiye could break Iran’s neck, if they allied with US and Israel against Iran and force ‘Zengezur’ and maybe push for liberating South Azerbaijan.

Armenia is more likely, but we should not forget that we are ‘good’ with Peshinyan. Some people say, that we are even protect him. (by MIT)

Obviously a thorough review will be done and lapses addressed. The security has to be ramped up in critical facilities like this one.

From the footage I saw, the car carrying the terrorists had breached a perimeter (i.e they disembark in some carpark area closer to compound already and start shooting at everyone approaching to check out who these are etc), when the perimeter should be good enough process to stop them there.

Turkiye has to treat situation as though its always in wartime (i.e bunker up the most important things well) as long as PKK exists and is functional in various ABC groups inside and outside Turkiye.

Im curious about Bayraktar and their security.

It is said that Selcuk Bayraktar takes security seriously. Due to Azerbaijan winning against Armenia. There has been numerous death threats towards him. The attention he gets also dangerous

A lot of defence companies in Turkiye have had their fair share of threats.

They really let their guard down.

I just hope something is learned from this. Decades of knowledge can easily get lost. At the same time knowledge never dies it passes down to the next gen.

This attack is like Lockheed Martin getting attacked.

HDP's former co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş made a statement following the terrorist attack on TUSAŞ. The following statements were made in the statement made on his social media account;

"WE WILL NEVER ALLOW IT"

*We condemn the attack in Ankara, we wish God's mercy upon those who lost their lives, our condolences and patience to their families. We also wish the injured a speedy recovery along with our get well wishes.

*The mentality that tries to cut off with blood the search for solutions to our problems through talk, dialogue and politics should know that if Öcalan takes the initiative and wants to pave the way for politics, we will be behind him with all our might.

Since 4 November 2016 he is detained in the prison in the F-Type prison Edirne

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said that releasing Demirtaş would not be possible under his governance!!!

But???!!!

This is what you get when you have islamist shitheads think they're untouchable, they're lax, just as they don't take the threat of refugees seriously.

Even if they breach perimeter there should be several hardcore entry point built in layers that should hinder movements further in to the facility. swiping a card should not be possible, typing password, eye scan, fingerprint it should take at least 10 min to get past those first checks. And the bloody train station entry checker is a fucking joke for such a facility.

Politicians flip flop thats how it is.

Politicians will sell their mothers.

As they say military can win wars while politicians can lose wars.

Erdogan is just signalling another capitulation. What makes it worse? The parties are all onboard with the governments genius plan.

This what happens when you try to appease the minority over the majority.

Zaten to them Turkish birthrates are falling hence why they are trying to appeal to the Kurds and to the Illegal immigrants to them they are their future voters.

Seeing such a lax security is a fcking joke. Numerous times these terrorist fck heads were going to target the Turkish defence industry.

Lets not forget the Russian spies taking pictures of the Bayraktar factory.

Instead this was all ignored. We can blame external forces all we want. This was a internal problem along with those politician fckheads who are cozying up to ocalan. No doubt the terrorists felt embolden to go on the attack.

Man never ending humiliation after humiliation..

Why there is no rcws, no jandarma patrolling, no highly armed and armored security forces?

Seriously it's an aerospace industrial zone and no serious security? I would have rcws in corridors, in and out of the building installed.. Together with ai and a detection system early warning system with people controlling them 24 a day

Jewel of your defense industry gets attacked by two donkeys who murder a taxi driver and you all are talking about bombing empty oil fields.

Why is no one here talking about consequences? Where are the resignations? 5 people lost their lives and countless people have lost a loved one.

And then the same engineers who leave this unsafe country are labeled traitors by erdogans trolls.

Where is erdogans secre…sorry I mean where is our head of MIT?

Our martyrs:

TUSAS Mechanical Engineer: Zahide Guclu

TUSAS Quality Control: Cengiz Coskun

TUSAS Personnel: Hasan Huseyin Canmaz

Security Guard: Atakan Sahin Erdogan

Taxi Driver: Murat Arslan

May Allah accept their martyrdom!

May Allah accept their martyrdom, I hope the condition of the remaining injured is not too bad... It is really so sad , this is unnormal situation more than terrorist attack, there are another powers behind of this painful event... I hope our state will find REAL responsibles and punish them immediately.
