I think that a large number of retiring European F-16 are pledged to Ukraine. Without checking, I think 75+. Of course, transfer to Ukraine can be blocked by the US.

In the long term a fighter force based on Gripen C/Gripen E would suit Ukraine best IMO. US could block those, too.

Europe does not have the industrial capability for necessary items like producing shells, heavy armored vehicles and rockets. And there is no way euros that are not in the military would want to be forcefully drafted to fight Russia in Ukraine. Trump openly mocked Zelensky for making Ukraine and Europe look militarily weak as a show of force against Russia without the US by Zelensky saying the war will be very very long. 3 years of the war Ukraine has constantly gotten surrounded by Russian forces through cauldrons and have lesser firepower where the majority of deaths done by this war were through explosives like rockets, drones and missiles which Ukraine has nowhere near close to Russia.

I think even the euros are happy to use Hungary and Slovakia as scapegoats to delay further aid to Ukraine while still looking like they support Ukraine for good publicity optics.

Trump on his speech is basically implying that Zelensky will eventually cave in to sign his mineral deal. I admit it was boring and not what I expected as in I thought he would show the ukraine peace agreement.

What we still dont know about the peace deal is will there be Russian peacekeepers in a DMZ Ukraine? NATO peacekeepers? Will the US even provide a deal for the Russians that would stop Ukrainians from acting like ******* again to re-arm and restart the conflict? Will they do anything if Russia tells them to fuck off as usual and they continue pushing west if they state NATO peacekeepers?
The conflict is already in Russia's favor if the US stopped military aid(while constantly dooming that Ukraine doesn't have the resources they can provide and manpower to win) and Europe is using Slovakia and Hungary as scapegoats for blocking the 20-billion-euro aid package to Ukraine. I am assuming that the US and Europe will try to salvage whatever is left of Ukraine and even they don't want Russia to move to far west to lower the return in investment (unless the US already made a deal with Russia behind closed doors on the minerals).

The FAB 3000 is not visible on the screen and its explosion is more powerful. It is possible that this UMBP D-30SN munition was launched from a Su-34 aircraft, or a Smerch MLRS or a Tornado-S MLRS. As a result of the precise hit of the Russian bomb, part of the building was destroyed, server equipment and satellite communication terminals were destroyed. The number of Ukrainian servicemen killed is unknown. Information about the successful use of Ukrainian electronic warfare against Russian precision bombs has not been confirmed.

The Netherlands announced that they will up their military and financial aid to Ukraine to $3.8 Billion usd in 2026. This includes $750 million usd for the production of long range attack drones built in Ukraine and Kamikaze drones built in the Netherlands.

Why is it important that leaders announce increased aid for Ukraine in 2026 now? Three reasons.

1. Ukraine's military and financial needs are fully funded through 2025. Any gaps that might exist later in 2025 will be in the form of American made weapons that simply cannot be replaced in the short term because of production capacity, not because of funding shortfalls.

2. It's important for the Ukrainian people that they see their allies continuing support into the future, even if America fully withdraws their support in the longterm. Ukraine can plan their domestic and military budgets around such support.

3. Russia needs to continue to be sent the message that Ukraine and Europe aren't yet willing to blink. And because offensive wars are far more costly than defensive wars, both in manpower and financial commitments Europe and other allies must continue to cause disportinate strain on the Russian economy, fiscal reserves and the remaining Soviet stockpile. Europe is getting enormous security benefits from this war continuing, without having to commit their own manpower, or having to change their economies to war time economies to fight their own war.

Netherlands to provide Ukraine with $3.8 billion in support in 2026

The Netherlands will provide Ukraine with 3.5 billion euros ($3.8 billion) in combined government support in 2026, Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof announced on March 5.

Germany's next Chancellor, Merz is seeking an additional $3.2 Billion usd in military aid for Ukraine in 2025, on top of thr $4.0 Billion that Germany has already budgeted. In total, it would bring Germany's 2025 commitment to $7.2 Billion usd in 2025.

The aid is earmarked for additional IRIS-T air defense systems and missiles, attack drones, howitzers, artillery shells and ammunition, as well as funding to refurbish weapons in German stockpiles, for transfer to Ukraine. The funding request is expected to be delayed until April when the new coalition government forms in Germany, however, the items requiring funding wouldn't be delivered until the back half of 2025 anyways, therefore, the delay won't have any practical consequences as existing aid will cover all military supplies sent in the first half of 2025.

Speaking at a press conference, Friedrich Merz said he is discussing the issue with outgoing German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, who has opposed the package unless funded by additional government borrowing.

As I posted previously, this report has been affirmed. Poland has now received sufficient numbers of K2's and M1A2's that they are comfortable sending the rest of their T-72s to Ukraine. PT-91s will be next as more of their new MBTs arrive later in 2025 and throughout 2026.

Make no mistake, Poland had several dozen T-72s in various states of disrepair. An undisclosed number were able to be sent to Ukraine immediately, however, several additional batches have been refurbished by Polish industry (uncluding this batch) and transfered to Ukraine as supplementary additions.

Following the lead of Germany , Britain and the Netherlands , Norway announced additional defense spending in 2025 to plug the gap left by the U.S.

The Norwegian parliament today announced that in 2025 Norway will increase it's military aid commitment to Ukraine by $4.5 Billion usd, from the previous $3.0 Billion that was allotted for the year, to a total of $7.5 Billion usd. Norway has not yet indicated how they will spend the additional $4.5 Billion usd this year, however, it is expected that a large portion of the increased spending will fall into 3 categories.

1. NASAMS Air defense systems, interceptors and spare parts, taking over from the Americans in this area.

2. Funding towards the Czech Led Artillery shells initiative that seeks to procure between 800,000-1,000,000 shells for Ukraine in 2025.

3. Funding for Ukraine's domestic arms production industry that has spare capacity and is limited only by domestic and allied funding, especially in the areas of drones, 122mm and 152mm artillery shells, Mortars, mortar rounds, howitzers and BTR-4 IFV production.

The video was filmed in the village of Tikhonovka, Kramatorsk district, the self-propelled howitzer "Gvozdika" was on the march and stopped in the village to transfer military equipment to the servicemen.
The 122-mm self-propelled howitzer 2S1 "Gvozdika" began to be produced in the USSR in 1968, it is now in service in 28 countries, information about it is on the channel. As a result of the drone attack, a fire started in the self-propelled howitzer 2S1 "Gvozdika", which destroyed the combat vehicle.
