Does missiles need a special configuration to carry a nuclear warhead?

There is no class system for this. In the modern sense, it would mean at least an MRBM with a MIRV capable warhead design.

But, as Turkey does not have a nuclear program, it's basically a waste of everyone's time to argue about all this for now.

Probably yes. Look at fins of these and the fins of actual missiles that were in test firing.

And strange enough, the one with supposedly IIR seeker head doesn’t have protection in your photo.

I'm pretty sure you're all reading too much into it and that's a telemetry pod in an AIM-120 style casing to not effect aerodynamics.
