Heavy Electronic attack by enemy and can you still use kizilelma or other drones ! While manned jets are another matter , they still can fly under electronic attack and at least bring jet back home not into the sea or at enemy airbaseAn unlimited number of Kızılelma and Anka3 can shift the balance of air power to our side in 3 years before any new foreign jet can be inducted.
In what world do we get "unlimited" number of KE and Anka-3 in 3 years, exactly? Because it is quite literally impossible in this one that we occupy right now.An unlimited number of Kızılelma and Anka3 can shift the balance of air power to our side in 3 years before any new foreign jet can be inducted.

When you make the plane yourself you are only bound by how many you want to make. The US made 48.000 planes in a year during WW2. Compared to only a couple hundred a couple thousand is unlimited. An unlimited number of ducks can kill a tiger too eventually.
But no such thing as unlimited.
Notice how outdated the fighter jets involved in the Ukrainian war are: the Su-24, Su-27, MiG-29, and even the Yak-52 trainers and others. Tanks: the T-55, T-62, armored personnel carriers, and infantry fighting vehicles from the 1960s...
Many countries retain even the most obsolete military equipment. The Ukrainians even have a Maxim machine gun from World War I. Anything can come in handy.
Over time, both fighter jets and pilots become obsolete. But they represent a very valuable reserve. In wartime, if 50- or 60-year-old pilots are called up, they will have a hard time retraining on new, more advanced fighters. Therefore, they will have to fly older ones, such as the F-4.
It's better to have 200 obsolete aircraft than 100.
Quantity matters, too.
When did this exactly happen..?Agreed. An F-16 shot down an Su-35 in Ukraine and F-16 is an inferior platform to the Eurofighter. Eurofighter may not be 5th gen but its still a top of the line aircraft and superior to the Rafale.

You can easily make a manned fighter unmanned; but to make an unmanned fighter manned is not realistic at all.![]()
Saab ready to open plant in Ukraine for Gripen fighter jets
Kyiv agrees to buy up to 150 aircraft from the Swedish defence companywww.ft.com
Although Gripen is the weakest , Ukraine is to buy 100-150 Gripens.
Damn, if RR supplied with Jet engines, unlimited production of KE would be possible.
I dunno, I am confused if Turkish fighter weren't twin engined and didn't long combat range, Europeans wouldnt piss off and they could supply with engines?

As I said before, make KE Manned!!! until indigenous engines for Kaan are ready.
Since Eurofighter agreement has been signed, we will have a stronger hand this time, let's see if it'll work.
why is that? The americans aren't that desperate to sell aircraft as the britishSince Eurofighter agreement has been signed, we will have a stronger hand this time, let's see if it'll work.
Because they will lose Turkey forever. Cooperation with the europeans is growing, EF is our first non american jet in decades.why is that? The americans aren't that desperate to sell aircraft as the british
In forever, if you do not count license built American jets.EF is our first non american jet in decades
Not desperate but as it scares, leave its allies alone and sometimes dump them in favor of another, one by one its irritated allies will stay away from US weapon systems.why is that? The americans aren't that desperate to sell aircraft as the british
How does that really work with IVEWS with which we supposedly funded?2. Our intention of adding not just our munitions but, adding our Aesa radar together with our avionics to the new planes.
If want to add our own electronics right away wouldn't it make more sense to buy some older block 50/52 from USAF as they want to get rid of them anyway. Preferably one with low flight hours and then put them through özgür mod. Would be cheaper for us and worthwhile for the americans getting money for something they wouldn't. LM would still want money for the rights but overall price tag would be lowerWell according to this news, the real stumbling block between Türkiye and US is :
1. Our insistence in getting hold of source codes.
2. Our intention of adding not just our munitions but, adding our Aesa radar together with our avionics to the new planes.
