İSBİR uses foreign engines for generator
The common requirements are only met by foreign engines.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has ordered new Turkish-made corvettes and unmanned combat aerial vehicles (UCAV) from Turkey. They are being procured for the Ukrainian Navy to enhance security in the Black and Azov Sea regions.

This could be the perfect oppurtunity to get experience integrating Zorya power plants on a Milgem platform. It could save us a lot of time when integrating to Istif, TF-2000 and other ships. I read in a Chinese journal that Ukrainians did not have expertise into integrating to modern ships. Chinese had to integrate the Zorya power plants themselves.

It will much easier if TF-2000 is designed with IEP, without shafting it is a lot easier by getting rid of gearboxes which we are depended on foreign sources and we will be, and gas turbines can be supplied from anyone (Ukraine or UK) along with generators.
I don't doubt that UK wouldn't hesitate to help on IEP as well, if assistance required.

Stating that the National Vertical Launching System (MDAS) developed by Roketsan will be used instead of the Mk41 Vertical Launching System (VLS), which is currently imported from abroad in the upcoming period, with the increasing indigenization rate in Istanbul Class (I-Class) Frigates, Prof. DEMİR said, “The integration of the foreign system on the first ship of the I-Class Frigates will be conducted by Roketsan. A certain experience will be gained here. After that, we will come to the level where the system itself can be built by Roketsan. Later, it will be available also on the 6th, 7th and 8th ships of the I-Class Frigates.”

"it will be available also on the 6th, 7th, 8th ships of the I-Class Frigates"

6th 7th 8th of the project, 2nd 3rd and 4th ship of I-Class.
It means Roketsan still hasn't started development of MDAS, and still expecting know-how from integration of Mk41 VLS. Can be interpreted as 'don't expect rest of the ships soon'.

HYDROGEN BURNER PALLADIUM CATALYSTS

A 5 kWt catalytic burner for PEM fuel cells: Effect of fuel type, fuel content and fuel loads on the capacity of the catalytic burner - Tübitak MAM project

A Field Application of a Fuel Cell Microcogeneration Unit - Page 35

In this study, the production process of hydrogen rich gas using natural gas as a feedstock has been investigated for a fuel processing system including autothermal reformer, water gas shift (WGS) (high and low temperature) and preferential oxidation reactors. The resulting gas stream has been introduced to a low temperature fuel cell unit. These two main process parts have been integrated as a 2 kWe micro cogeneration unit as a whole. In the process, the raw natural gas is cleaned, its hydrocarbon content is reformed, CO content is shifted (via WGS reactor) and finally H2 rich stream is fed to a low temperature PEM fuel cell unit. The conceptual design of the fuel cell stack components (bipolar plate and membrane electrode assembly) has been performed. The bipolar plates with a novel flow field design have been produced. The preliminary single cell performance tests have been performed for 225 cm2 active area. 2 kWe fuel cell system has been integrated and performance tests have been performed.

I’d love it if Ultra LWT could be developed for our UAV, though I don’t know how much the weight of LWT are.

Under the leadership of the Defense Industry Directorate, "324 mm Torpedo Development Project" is initiated to meet the light class torpedo requirement of the Naval Forces Command. Roketsan will be the prime contractor.

ORKA is in theaters soon.

İ can't help dreaming onto new platforms.
Of course the first platform for light torpedos should be YTKBs as they are for submarine detection since they have sonar.

LWT project was there since awhile and going on, i wonder why would they need to announce it this way?
AKYA was there since 2008-10, LWT was there even before seen in brochures of Aselsan.
There is more to come after large cavitation tunnel is becoming operational.
I’d love it if Ultra LWT could be developed for our UAV, though I don’t know how much the weight of LWT are.
Probably will happen too,
Winged guidance kit + a release system.

Dont forget ASW USV too. Can be used as a torpedo boat without risking the large ships.

ASW USV in the Aegan Sea... Swarming Targets and neutralizing them. Can’t imagine a bigger nightmare for a certain neighbor that thinks it can poke the wrong bear and get away with it.

We need C&C ships/Motherships. The Brits are doing the same with the T32 ships. Those are warships, I think the same can be done with cheap hulls with minimal protection. Specifically made for the Aegan.

For those interested in the Type 32 of the RN:

AFAIK sonar ranges are limited comparing Radar ranges. So ASW USW needs a sonar. What's is the range of our Frigates or Corvettes sonars?

YTKBs have sonars they urged those torpedos.

ASW USV was seen with a towed sonar (probably variable depth), the range would be limited yes but an USV can be set to patrol in a limited area while the manned ships taking care of other roles, the ships are not alone too, there is MPA, and UAVs. USVs can be used to pinpoint the threat for an effective counter.
If LWT was needed on YTKB i think it would be integrated already. It is better to wait to see what will happen to YTKB fleet when an upgrade is needed.
