This could be the perfect oppurtunity to get experience integrating Zorya power plants on a Milgem platform. It could save us a lot of time when integrating to Istif, TF-2000 and other ships. I read in a Chinese journal that Ukrainians did not have expertise into integrating to modern ships. Chinese had to integrate the Zorya power plants themselves.
It will much easier if TF-2000 is designed with IEP, without shafting it is a lot easier by getting rid of gearboxes which we are depended on foreign sources and we will be, and gas turbines can be supplied from anyone (Ukraine or UK) along with generators.
I don't doubt that UK wouldn't hesitate to help on IEP as well, if assistance required.
