CPFH is not a major factor if you can down drones for $25K instead of $500K. Down 2 drones in a hour and the weapons expended cost is at least $800K lower than using Sidewinder.
That was correct for tesaj however, main thing is they are planning a catapult for the MUGEM and secondly Tesaj has an empty weight off 6600 kilos whilest Hurjet only weighs 5000 while both having the same engine, you could argue Tesaj has more lift area and all but Hurjet is over all a lighter airframe, I think even without the catapult we should be able to carry at least 1-1.5 tons of ordinance which will be good enough until the catapult is done i guess

If you have no other means of downing drones, then OK. At 60-65000dollar per hour (remember with extra tanks and refuelling, a typhoon can fly 9-10 hours) .
Fighters are already required to patrol and pilots need to fulfill certain flight hours, part of why army is sustainable ( they ensure funds are not reallocated at times of peace by keeping a certain level of readiness and keeping expenditure relatively high) so instead of more training flight pilot get more duty. With cheap munition the actual cost is fine

I understand, but even procuring for producing Hürjet is important. I am not sure that we'll get any production licens as things are now. and seeing as how our fighterjet fleet is old, I think US holding out is just going to age our fleet even more.

I agree. If we change it to LCA now. all the previous work we've done will go to waste. I also mentioned in the past that we should not openly work on a LCA version before we've gotten the first deal completly cleared and production/delivery has begun.

But this plane is not stealthy.

So far, France is the only major power that has not taken the stealth route.
Since we have a stealthy engine coming up soon in the form of TF10000, it would be stupid to go forward with a non stealthy Hurjet.
Just downsize KAAN to a Hurjet size twin engined single and twin seater plane with TF10000s. It would be easier and cheaper to make it sturdier and with it’s smaller size stealthier.
I hope decision makers are forward thinking people.
