Don't those countries also want to buy F-35s?
But paying for almost new Eurofighters with S400s is the least bad option i guess.
Is not realistic for any of these countries they can buy any other ad system and they do. Only reason could be they need to replenish their sock fast no matter how but that is a long pitch.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov announced that Russia and Turkey have held talks regarding the possible resale of the S-400 air defense systems currently in Turkey's inventory.

Peskov said:

"Russia and Turkey have discussed the possible resale of the S-400 systems currently in Ankara's inventory. The possibility of selling these systems is a sensitive issue. Discussions with Turkey on this matter will continue."

What I heard is that S400 to UEA and Qatar is on the table . Russia is bullish on the issue and wants to buy back its own system from the UAE or Qatar. It is likely that we are selling S400 back to Russia in a complex roundabout way, not to hurt relations with Ukraine.

Imagine selling the S400 and the US still not selling the F35, I absolutely could see them doing that... Let's hope for the best.
They will likely try to introduce new goalposts, but regardless of that, S400 is not suitable for us, we should get rid of it even if we can't get F-35s.

When we lost F35 because AK party brought s400, AKtrolls convinced us it was a great idea and F35's were shit and it saved us a massive economic burden. Now years later their selling the S400's most likely at a loss to get back f35's that they will probably pay more for now. This is now sold as a great political success story.

Anyway, i wouldn't sell the s400 until the first F35's are received.

This will go down as one of the most foolish moves of the century.

honestly i think the common people in Turkiye are too numb to care about it. It may go down somewhere but i don't think most of the nation will ever remember it.

But i do think it goes to add weight to my argument that this s400 purchase was about syria, trying to gain favour with russia while at the same time telling the americans to back off or they risk losing Turkiye over their support of the YPG. Obviously we know how that went.
