OK, while we’re discussing the order of March of Turkish Navy and its command structure, I will ask for your help guys. Does Turkish Navy hold a rank of Commodore?
I mean, there are North and South marine zone commands and combat fleet commands commanded by various ranks of admirals. But I can’t confirm that we have a rank (*title) as commodore. Is there maybe a title corresponding to it?

Commodore is not a hierarchical rank in the Turkish Navy, but rather an operational title given to senior colonels who command a flotilla-level naval unit. They are granted the power of an admiral and use the flag and insignia of an admiral even though they are colonels.

So the rank that carries the title is colonels, prefarebly a senior one, right? But do we call them commodore while they carry the task, command the filotilla or just call them as their ranks ie, colonel?

If it is anything like US system (that started this messy slop of rear admiral lower instead of cleaner commodore in mid 1980s....and then commodore becomes this special captain "+" rank)...

....the crew might often refer to this kind of captain as "Commodore" but in official communications it would always be Captain (or Colonel if you keep same as land forces name - Albay in Turkish I think).

That is the NATO OF-5 standard...and its important since it prevents any clash with other NATO navies that still retain the Commodore rank in OF-6 like say in UK and Canada (as it should be IMO, much cleaner than having two rear admiral types for 1 star and 2 star).

Just as I thought. Officially called by the commander’s rank such as colonel or tuğgeneral as @TR_123456 and @TheInsider pointed , not the title commodore.
