Exposing the Modi government’s bombastic claims that the terrorism challenge has been confined to the disputed Kashmir Valley, Maoist insurgents detonated an improvised explosive device (IED) in Maharashtra’s Gadchiroli district on May 1, killing more than 15 security personnel engaged in anti-Naxalite operations.

You won’t believe where they come from, they come from the same company which supplies the Armed Forces, OFB!!! The OFB is in today’s date a 100% fully communist company thanks to Indira Gandhi allowing Ruskes to bring as much communism in India as possible.Where do they get weapons and funding from? Clearly this has been going on for decades and must have some local traction?

Kidnappings , extortion, illegal mining, illegal timber, safety money ..sometimes back the main source was extortion from tendu leaf businessesMay the victims rest in peace.
Who finances and supports these terrorists? And what do they want to achieve?
I think we should used the same pakistani strategy of carpet bombing these schmucks disregarding collateral damage...use em Apaches, Rudras and LCHsWhere do they get weapons and funding from? Clearly this has been going on for decades and must have some local traction?

They are Indians and its a political problem when you don't provide the very basic needs like medical, roads, schools drinkable water what you expect such populace will doI think we should used the same pakistani strategy of carpet bombing these schmucks disregarding collateral damage...use em Apaches, Rudras and LCHs

It doesn't matter what weapons you use when you still end up killing em. Heavy weapons should be used if we wanna prevent casualties on our end. Also, the most undertrained, underequipped CRPF forces are sent to deal with the naxal menace while the well trained folks are either deployed in Kashmir or Northeast. One reason both Andhra & Telangana saw a drastic downfall of their naxal cadres is due to AP police Greyhound units which are their elite anti-naxal commandos who're significantly well trained and better equipped. The org structure and planning is also robust and is on par with elite IA troopsThey are Indians and its a political problem when you don't provide the very basic needs like medical, roads, schools drinkable water what you expect such populace will do
sometimes back a person in bustar only makes 18Rs a day, try to live there for a day and then think.
India should use better surveillance, but no need of any heavy weapons
Though it has been a heartening overall trend w.r.t decrease if you look at the numbers 10 years ago and 10 years before that. Way fewer civilians are perishing from it compared to before.
THE current IB chief has experience in the Naxal problem so sooner or later we will find some kind of breakthrough either by talks or by punishment
There are people in other villages too who don’t get basic needs, you by wasting State’s resources by becoming a terrorist are the reason others suffer. They are terrorists and must be treated like one, neither they are Indians nor Humans. They are Indians and its a political problem when you don't provide the very basic needs like medical, roads, schools drinkable water what you expect such populace will do

There is a reason they survived since 60s, and Govt under both BJP and Congress never used heavy weapons in these areas as they understand the impacts and no they are not terrorists, and regarding this ambush, they have proved time and again their strategy and intelligence is better then CRPFThere are people in other villages too who don’t get basic needs, you by wasting State’s resources by becoming a terrorist are the reason others suffer. Isn't Rustom-1 a UAV and not an UCAV! It is developed for surveillance and reconnaissance ops.Rustom-1 has similar specs to Bayraktar TB-2 yet Indian Airforce doesn’t want it because they love imported items, I don’t understand what is their UCAV doctrine. If they consider expensive MQ-9 like drones as their doctrine then they should buy them up in huge numbers else buy domestic Rustom-1 UCAV for use in low intensity fights and conflicts like the ones in Naxal terrorism zones. They should remain in fear that a NAG missile can pop their heads up anytime from the sky.
