I feel like Bozdogan would be a better fit to develop Naval Point Defence missile, with the higher resolution seeker..

Maybe they are planning to enlarge a small missiles (Sungur- 90-100mm(?)) instead of miniaturize a large missile (Bozdoğan 160mm) bro but Bozdoğan better fits to the size and diameter figures of RAM Block-2.

Guys what do you think about that Oerlikon skyranger which is original of our Korkut/ Gökdeniz has been upgraded because of changing battlefield doctrine in Karabağ war due to drones?

First they reduced the caliber from 35mm to 30mm however it uses proggrammable ammunition.

Second instead of seperate rotating radars, they covered Turret with several S band AESA radars.

Third they added laser guided missiles .

Do you think our Korkut is outdated and inefficient against drones ?

Korkut has AESA radar but it is rotating.
Korkut has twin 35mm barrel while Skyranger has just one.

Korkut already had thermal optical seekers.

I have read in some article that Korkut actually has a spare place to put (optional) missiles (manpads) in future (may be they were waiting sungur, extended range), I think it is a must to counter longer range threats. We might see it in next iteration. Also it is so bulky.

Yes these forums are true gems for foreign intelligence services, making their work easier.. I have been to TRNC one and they were doing google searches like a regular guy and read google translated forum messages hahaha. Easier to gather info and make reports nowadays. Back in 90s and 2000s, TSK was so strict about media stuff, images and videos but now it just become a propaganda tool, they disclose everything instantly.

In this case, the range of the Shield target tracking radar is how many hundred km? Can we say 100 km for the range of the firing control radar?
