The Europeans have a hard time working together. Everyone will be playing a different tune for FCAS. Germany will always cause problems with sales. I don't think this project has a future either.

FCAS dying is likely. But GCAP is progressing on relatively solid ground so far. (Even though there are some issues with tech sharing) IMO, thinking it will fail is wishful. Remember a demonstrator is already in production. This is about keeping British, Japanese and Italian aerospace industries alive. Those are big names and they aren't gonna capitulate.

I don't see USA offering F-47 to anyone.

2030s would interesting with so many next gen platforms. Kaan, J35, AMCA, GCAP.

France would be better off if they tried to build something like Kaan after rafale. They have all the infrastructure too. FCAS is not the optimal next step for them.

The US will offer F-47 to very close allies. Trump already announced that. There will be an export version with slightly reduced capabilities. Israel will get it to counter Kaan, and Japan will get it to counter China. I don't think GCAP will fail, but there will be a lot of delays.

BTW, F-47 will be very expensive. IMHO, Israel can afford 1 squadron with the US military aid. Japan can afford more. Israel will have no clear answer to Kaan and its loyal wingmen without F-47.

In my opinion, the development of Turkish military technology has made some people's hair stand on end in the Eastern Mediterranean basin, (example Greece).
And I could send you hundreds of articles from different spokespeople of the State Department, from various lobbies, from groups of senators who occasionallysend letters to the Senate to block Turkiye, etc, etc..., andthe end goal is known:
"TO DELAY TURKIYE IN TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT AND MILITARY MODERNISATION" ... Especially in air technology...

We don’t have the balls to reciprocate these sanctions.
They should never have been implemented to an ally.

6th gen is just a marketing gimmick; the only thing that makes a 6th gen fighter a 6th gen is that its engines are more fuel efficient, it has a loyal wingman, and it can carry more weapons than a regular 5th gen.

Every one of these features can be installed on a 5th-generation fighter, except for the carrying more weapons part.

I try to look at things calmly, since i am of another nationality, and what I see is that Turkiye tries to be very cautions in international relations and especially in diplomatic ones. Regarding the later, I dare say that Turkiye as the heir of the Osman Empire, gives water from the tail of the spoon to everyone in the world...!

They should finally release the TAI KAAN in 2029/30, preferably with 30 units per year.
Then TAI can take care of GEN 6.
Turkey needs at least 120 TAI KAANs in its fleet by 2035, plus 60 Kizilelma and 60 Anka 3 drones. This is a must, otherwise we will be in serious trouble.
Simsek & Super Simsek play a central role in a first strike and counterstrike scenario with cruise missiles.

Equally important are long-range ammunition, and lots of it, plus TB2T AI with Kemankes 1 & 2, with lots of Missiles and Micromunition, all as very cost-optimized as possible. Everything must be manufactured as cheaply as possible, so that they can be used as absolute disposable drones in a war scenario with high scalability.

TB3, Anka S, Akinci & Aksungur can then be used for infiltration or combined attacks then.
