Business wise, TNI AU can open a premium Training Center for aspiring fighter pilots from all over the world. The plane selection will be unbeatable.

Actually I did “…In 2014, Erdogan helped Qatar broker a $300 million deal to acquire a 49.9 percent stake in BMC…” “…due to a dispute over the sharing of intellectual property and the involvement of a Qatari-Turkish company,” 101 namely BMC.102 Turkey has since commissioned TRMotor, which is...

Part of it coming from Qatari investment. Turkey - Qatar has rock solid partnership on every aspect.

At that time Japan attacked using 3 axis. Each axis consisted of a long column of attacking forces with no more than 100 km wide between each flank. Hence this Japanese advancing column had been covered by their fighter planes more effectively due to narrow distance between each flank. They...

And why do we need to pay $2 billion when we don’t need to pay anything and can just buy the end product instead? you pay $2 billion to get knowledge about the radar and can build something (software) yourself on top of it.

Indonesia Indonesian Air Force, Tentara Nasional Indonesia-Angkatan Udara (TNI-AU)

I believe the main reason Indo govt deferred their payment was due to the ‘vague’ nature of the contract, in a way that it was ‘overpromise’ by the Korean side. and if you’re looking for mutual partnership in R&D, u will share at least the same proportion of financial contribution percentage...

Not quite. U can’t make US willing to share their sensitive technology for a mere $2 billion

Indonesia has been unhappy because we’re being blocked to get accessed to the core technology on KF-21 that happened to be owned by US. Unless the Korean can ensure IF-21 core tech to be accessible (and modifiable) by Indonesian, the drama will continue.

The beauty of this arrangemet is: it will be paid annually using MoD annual budget for the next 25 years. Fiscal friendly 👍

This one? The ship will be about 143 meters long, 21.5 meters wide and it will be able to accommodate about 550 persons on board, equipped with two vehicle ramps and an internal floodable dock, capable of accommodating a ready-to-go LCM (Landing Craft Mechanized) that can also be stored on...

Everyone pay with installment. I think the problem is on the choice of lender. Boeing may have their own lender who is not what the MoD proposed (remember Qatar vs UAE lender leak?)

Way before CAATSA, 08 is already on US blacklist. And look at him now, cozily getting his way to get any access to every western key decision making centres. Hence I don’t believe he’s afraid of CAATSA. He just still unable to convince other stakeholders (ie the president). 08 is definitely...

Their ambition is plausible indeed. We are living in the peak of global supply chain era. Everything can be bought off the shelf, including jet engine and other high-tech hardwares that can’t be produced locally (yet). Infoglobal then can just stick on their core competence, i.e. software...

Are we talking about having a LHD or PAL capability? Most of the talking here is about the possibility of we’re having a LHD. And I think (realistically) it’s 100% possible, considering the cost of the targeted ship concept (ie Navantia-Sedef TCG Anadolu). Whether PAL can produce it...

We bought 3 overprice underperformed submarines for $1.3 bio, so? PAL also can copy similar roadmap, 1 built in Turkey + 1 assembled in Surabaya. It’s doable with the current budget (and expertise). It’s not overreach (or some say “a wet dream”).

TCG Anadolu is not that expensive. Technology wise also not that super complex rocket science-like. PAL can definitely make one.
