One or two engines most likely but I would say ideally two engines. Safer against malfunction, carries more load and leaves the planes belly empty for large pieces of payload.
In the worst case scenario TEI makes the TFX engine a few years later than planned in which case we may have to fly some of our planes with underpowered engines. What I am saying is before we can pull off 35k lbf we can probably fly 30k. I think the more likely scenario is TEI efforts will be...
Tech companies abroad are laying off their employees en masse. 10.000 from Amazon, 10.000 from Meta and from every tech company in preparation of an impending collapse. Yet our people are keeping their jobs and growing in numbers. So lucky for us.
At the production stage TEI would be involved and they do the production whether or not RR get involved in the design process I believe. RR can still be involved for taking shortcuts to a succesful engine seamlessly. TEI only lack experience in the design process but a little risk puts more...
Seems like what needed to be strong about the TF-10000 is particularly the casing. Faster exhaust flow creates venturi effect and causes the unsupported case to sink/collapse towards the center. Hence the strenghtening veins on the case.
Türkiye has a diversified economy not relying on a few industries alone. Turkiye is also poised to make a jump towards high value production which will include some stuff which we have been inporting so far including display panels and microchips. There are many areas that local production is to...
Barbaros means we do not necessarily deploy our ships for offensive purposes in those areas unless we want to unleash small gunfire I guess. It would be good if we had unmanned sensor assets underwater to make things even easier. Perhaps not too far away now.
I had to make a seperate post for people who have not viewed the video that is in my previous post. An American shooter won the carry optics division championship with this Canik METE SFX PRO pistol. And the two malfunctions that happened in the video were actually induced by the reviewer on...
Eight tanks per month is a respectable production capability for which a lot of discussion was made for no good reason. They will likely finish the production of the first batch in just a year. Once the BATU engine is ready to power tanks Turkish industry will be able to make any tank in any...
Initially 6th gen planes were considered to be not having vertical stabilizers but then 6th gens with vertical stabilizers became common. It is probably only about more visibility angles being eliminated by 6th gen rather than eliminating the VS altogether.
