Global Hawk flies at 65.000 ft (19.812 m) and is powered by a 7,050 lbf engine with a 5:1 bypass ratio.
TF6000 can be tuned to give that power but with a bypass ratio of 1.08:1 it will fly a shorter time than higher bypass engines but it can also be faster.
Akıncı is made to carry heavy loads. A HALE plane can be made to carry lighter loads and optimized for high altitude so we can expect a good deal of better altitude performance from such a plane. For better high altitude performance you need longer wingspan and high aspect ratio wings, unlike...
The question is which engines will power the Göksungur if it is going to be turboprop?
A turboprop engine can be made from a turboshaft engine without too much development time. But the most ideal one is one that has been developed as a turboprop from scratch. Göksungur can use a PT6 engine like...
There is not much telling about the size of the plane but it totally depends on availability of engines. TF6000 and Özgün engines are the national engines that are in the pipeline now. TF6000 is the more likely candidade to power such a plane. Carrying capacity will totally depend on if the...
Were these Iranian missiles not available when they did a retaliation attack of Soleimani assasination on US bases in Iraq. It was not an effective attack as far as I remember.
It would be best to have a plane or two (twin engine) for every type of engine that we can get our hands on. Different products for differing needs of users.
Ethiopia has resolved the Tigray conflict and we know what played a big role there. See the news at the link below.

Obviously the TISU is meant to be powered by the TF6000 turbofan that is in the works.
Single and twin engine varieties come to mind. A tanker possibly and other purposes too.
It is a relief to finally know that the upcoming TISU/Göksungur is a full grown unmanned fighter rather than a target drone or faster than a bullet but smaller than a hobby toy plane.
There may be some misunderstanding here as he may have meant that it is in the pipeline and not on the assembly line. This case only puts the arrival of it somewhat further away than being impending.
