You are forgetting how dashnak filth did speeches in Diyarbakr.

Of course they will allow the Taliban too.

Government and opposition are all quiet. Because they are cowards.

Terrible news from South Korea. More than 150 young people died from a stampede. There are terrible videos online showing the aftermath. The footages of living people stuck at each other and screaming when authorities trying to disengage them with no success. Truly horrific scenes. My prayers are with Korean people. I hope better crowd control measures are employed to prevent such calamities happening ever again. 🙏🇰🇷

In Turkish:

aslan = lion, kaplan = tiger

what is the meaning/etymology of suffix "lan" if it has one? Or just a shared coincidence?

The "-lan" suffix is used with wild animals and it comes from Old Turkish. But the origin of the word is unclear. Some suggests that the suffix originates from the Chinese word "lon"(龙), which means Dragon.

I'm basing this explanation on "Nişanyan Etymological Dictionary".

Other animals with the suffix "lan": Sırtlan(Hyena), Yılan(Snake)
