If this can be quad-packed into national VLS it will be an insane capability. Dual-packing will also be extremely good.

I guess thanks to the foldable fins we can integrate the Siper missile into a cell with a diameter of about 400mm. Quad pack ESSM's body diameter is 254mm. With the volume that the folding fins will occupy, the ESSM will reach an estimated diameter of ~300mm and I guess this is the limit for quadpack. The CAMM-Er reached its quadpack capability with a 190mm body diameter. The target in the Siper is probably not the quadpack but we can see it in the Hisar-U.

In the statement of Ismail Demir, it was stated that "the missile with a range of 100 km and an altitude of 20 km will enter the inventory before Siper missile". If the name of the missile that will enter the inventory before the Siper has not changed, then we can specify that the Siper will have ranges of over 100km under all conditions but if the name was changed and they included the 100km range missile within the scope of Siper, then this missile may be the 100km intrrmediate solution as announced previously and may have been announced as the Siper block-1 missile as well.

The booster on BARAK 8-ER has changed a lot since its introduction, I like to see similar developments with SIPER

Yes, this is the 100km range missile. Hisar-U is renamed to Siper Block-1. 20km altitude and 100km range are maximum stats. The range of the missile is around 70km at 20km (~65000 feet) altitude. The missile reaches 100km at 10km altitude(~33000 feet).

Under normal conditions, I expected the 100km ranged Hisar-U to be fired before Siper but it is stated that this test firing belongs to the Siper. Maybe it could be an early stage ballistic test of the common subsystems between Hisar-U and Siper, such as seeker and booster, which are collected on the Hisar-Rf hull. We will wait and see the details soon

It is the seperation of booster. Such first firing trials or ballistic tests are not made to hit targets.

One thing to mention, this was only roketsan people ceremony. Roketsan initiated this project over hisar and siper projects . So real siper missiles which are being developed with sage and Aselsan help will be different than this.

Man Looks like we are actually pulling this stuff of Im pretty sure that siper will be a great AA system combined with ECW measures Our only weakness comes from the air defence, Like look at the libya an mirage2000 was able to hit our base protected by shit MIMs.

BTW this air defense missile subsystem has been in development for some time(Test footage is from June 2020) for the Siper Block 2 missile that will give Siper Block 2 a limited capability to intercept ballistic missiles. Some people speculate that this system found its way to Hisar-U so Hisar-U is renamed as Siper block 1. Big if true.

We reached 500+km with EIRS. I think with the new missiles Siper system will eventually reach 200-300km range. This missile is just one of the Sıper missiles. We are better than Russia in guiding systems. So Siper can compete with S-400 in every parameter.

This looks like the missile they mentioned earlier which will be between Hisar-RF and actual Siper we are waiting, so instead of calling it another layer of Hisar (Hisar-U), they named it as Siper's first tier. As mentioned earlier it looks like Hisar-RF with atmaca booster. I think it is a fast developed just extending the range, and if it can lock on the target from 100 km, it will be available with in a year easily. This with Aselsan EIRS will create a good cover over Syrian Air Space. Congratz

With the Siper Block-1 missile, we see the form of Hisar-Rf. It is a missile that is much slimer than 350mm in diameter and will be one of the missiles that will be offered to the navy instead of quad pack ESSM (250mm), and we will probably see (maybe modified a bit) Hisar-Rf inside the MDAS at TCG Istanbul. The mid and rear fins seems foldable and I think the missile itself are similar in diameter to the ESSM. I will be eagerly awaiting developments.
