it seems that Turkey's multi-layered air defense missile system umbrella will be developed with the following systems

Sungur family
  • MANPADS
  • C-RAM, Sea-RAM
Hisar family
  • Hisar-A+
  • Hisar-O+
  • Hisar-Rf
Siper family
  • Siper Blk1 (70km)
  • Siper Blk2 (100km)
  • Siper Blk3 (150+km)
  • Siper..
Anti-ballistic missile system (~150km altitude)
There is a high probability that this is the missile with a range of 100km in question. As long as it doesn't reach a ceiling altitude of 20 km, when you force the missile at a low altitude, it can see a range of 100 km at these dimensions. It is certain that the large-scale boosterless main Siper missile will be open to development, but I don't think another missile with a new body will be designed until we get to it.

BTW this air defense missile subsystem has been in development for some time(Test footage is from June 2020) for the Siper Block 2 missile that will give Siper Block 2 a limited capability to intercept ballistic missiles. Some people speculate that this system found its way to Hisar-U so Hisar-U is renamed as Siper block 1. Big if true.
I don't think this missile has this system but Tozkoparan of sage could house this system. Sage CEO was mentioning Tozkoparan to be more agile missile .

If worst comes to worst, we can pack SIPER into ATMACA launchers who needs 12x ASHM anyway? :)

Medium Range Anti Ship missiles booster seems more suitable

Utilizing the opposite direction of the oblique launchers, there is space for 16 more missiles on I-Class, 8 on Milgem.

With the Siper Block-1 missile, we see the form of Hisar-Rf. It is a missile that is much slimer than 350mm in diameter and will be one of the missiles that will be offered to the navy instead of quad pack ESSM (250mm), and we will probably see (maybe modified a bit) Hisar-Rf inside the MDAS at TCG Istanbul. The mid and rear fins seems foldable and I think the missile itself are similar in diameter to the ESSM. I will be eagerly awaiting developments.

I still have a sense Siper Family will be used for SAM engagements on naval platforms while quadpacked Gökdoğan-Bozdoğan-G40-G60 (2 of them will be picked eventually) will be used for point and self defence duties.

Smaller missiles are important as much as the big ones to equip the smaller vessels with up to date SAM solutions (also has great potential for export)

By comparing the ATMACA booster with the SIPER booster, it is possible that the current SIPER booster is only intended for preliminary testing of the booster disconnection and the dual-pulse main motor starting, and the current booster is from stock only, and will be replaced in the future by the real booster , because I don't think this small booster is capable of Doubling the range of the missile, the size of the ASTER-30 booster, which appears larger than the ASTER-15 missile installed above it, can be compared to the size of the SIPER booster.

Booster creates too much smoke. It would give the location of the launchers to the enemy.
And also create bad smell. They have to change the supplier of fuel. It is look like it is cheap fuel.

Can someone compare length of Hisar O with this Siper ?! For me it looks small for long range SAM 0.5 meter longer than Hisar but pehaps i am wrong

ibrahim sünnetçi says gökdoğan should be fired with its own radar with limited range,we cant make talking of gökdoğan with ANG APS version five radar,so can we solve this problem with the help of meteksan kement on blok 30 öözgür,the photo of the F16 looks like blok 30 because of lack of IFF antennas

I've noticed that several of the news outlets are giving misleading information. They're calling the missile launched Siper, and I've read you guys input on it as well. So question is going to be, is Siper the final missiles name or is Siper the name a group of long range missiles.

I believe it'll be the name of the final missile, so why did the others get their names revamped ?

Also the missile is quite slim as pointed out, if it's 250mm and not very long/tall the estimated range I've seen in the thread puts it around 70-100 km, and if I didn't get it wrong it's with the small booster shown right ?

@Cabatli_53 said (I think it was him) something about the range being impressive comparable with it's size, which I really hope is true. But the question is then what's the speed of the missile ?

Have we managed to create a more fuel efficient booster/rocket engine and how much does it increase the range. Of course I hope that we've made better rocket engine which will mean smaller and slimmer missiles will have 20-30% longer range, but I'm not sure if it's a dream atm :)

Very good analysis and questions!
It is a fact that the shape and hence the aerodynamic properties play a big part in the range of the missile and also it’s speed. We have gained enough expertise to streamline the missile and make it more aerodynamic. Up until 15000m altitude where air is denser, with the aid of a booster if the missile attains enough momentum and speed, it will achieve Mach 4 + speeds with better overall range and better kill probability at its terminal phase.
Use of dual pulse engine makes it faster at terminal stage improving it’s chance to hit target. With Hisar range of missiles we have obtained a lot of experience in the utilisation of dual pulse rocket engines. It may just be that this experience is manifesting itself in the Siper now. And I can envisage a Gokdogan BVR with dual pulse motor reaching ~ 200km ranges like the PL15 of China or the Aim-260 (JATM) missile which uses a boost-cruise-boost mode akin to dual pulse.
