Shame on TUSAŞ,we still use bunshee target drone.

They're old, so it makes sense to get rid of them first.
TUSAS is making wonders and some of you are shaming it. Unbelievable!

Firstly, this is an old video. We know Gökdemir test was made at least a year ago from the accompanied photo which was made public in 2023 at the latest. Adding, That's a Banshee 80 twin engine target drone. It's not old, it's a perfect target drone, cheap and is basically an industry standard at this point. And it perfectly matches the threats Gökdoğan will be used against. It can fly up to mach 0.6 and 30k feet. And I don't think Süper Şimşek is ready.

Do you mean ASuW capabilities? Otherwise each DDG and carrier strike wing still carry substantial land attack capabilities, no?
CSG's are often accompanied by submarines equipped with Tomahawks as well. But indeed, CSG's role in ASuW is immeasurable with the aircrafts on board.

Possibly, this argument from 90s through 2000s has been obsolete as US has achieved remarkable low costs for tomahawk, that made it eventually comparable to the 155mm rounds* initially planned to be used on Zumwalt class.

* also the gun system, maintenance non-commonality through other surface assets etc. yielding to higher costs.

Its not a "kill by hit" system.
Gökdoğan is indeed not hit to kill by its nature but this speaks volumes to the guidance system and the maneuvering characteristics of the missile.
It's this vehicle Turkish? Looks fabulous! Couldn't they put HISAR on it too?
It's Anadolu Isuzu's Seyit 8x8 built under Tatra license. We talked about this few months back 🤭 Aselsan for the last few years seem to use Seyit for 8x8 and BMC for 6x6 duties. TEIRS early warning radars are placed on Seyit while Siper is built on BMC 6x6s. Hisar O was contracted years ago when there was no Seyit. Maybe new batteries will be delivered on something other than Mercedes Zetros.

Something to add, on the video, they use Aselsan's 35mm gun radar and EO system to guide the missile. That trailer is usually used together with 3 35mm guns/Korkut and an Hisar A. It carries all the sensors(3D MAR, FCR AKR and EO) Hisar A carries, so I'm thinking the Hisar A in the complex can be replaced fully by a Gökdemir TEL which would open up the much more mobile Hisar for deployment elsewhere.

Gökdemir can be slaved to any Aselsan radar system. In this case, it is slaved to AIC of modernized AAA/Korkut/Hisar-A. It can also get firing solutions directly from Steel Dome IADS.

I believe that's the point of Steel Dome in the first place.

TUSAŞ Superşimşek project delayed too much because of lack of engine.Questions should be answered why german firm is selected 3 turkish firms can produce turbojet engines with various powers.Germans made an embargo, everyone can guess that they make sooner or later, thats why I have to shame it for selecting germans and delaying the project. There is plenty of air defence projects and you can notbe sure about they work properly with their limits without testing. If the bunshee cover that limits there would not be any problem but it is not.Even super şimşek is not enough for testing because she flies at high subsonic level but better than bunshee. We need super sonic target drones for testing air defence systems. The tests are to be very close the real scanerios. So its not about to use old stocks but to get a maturity of the things that you are testing.

I expect a hypersonic target missile from ROKETSAN
Addition to TUSAŞ's turbojet target UAV aircraft.

🇹🇷 With the power of national engineering, the technological shields of our skies are also getting stronger.
.
In the field of #GökVatan , which extends from the lowest ⬇️ to the highest ⬆️ , the reliable systems of #ÇelikKubbe are developing.
.
🚀 HİSAR O With the Extended Range Shooting Test, the target was destroyed with a direct hit at 40+ kilometers.
.
👨‍💻 I wholeheartedly congratulate our #ASELSAN and #ROKETSAN engineers, our children of the country, who work day and night, bring success and gain new skills. 👏🏻🇹🇷

Aselsan director says they improved radar range ,IIR and RF seeker. What we know so far is IIR seeker gets trouble with the extention of range at supersonic.

They are slowly catching up with the requirement put for Hisar-D B1 and B2. B2 might get even better.

Hisar block 2 may refer to 4 missile for one cell of Midlas.Although the hisar missiles slower than gökdoğan they have more NEZ.

G40 might have been survived?
I don't think so, it was meant to keep common parts with Gökdoğan. This is Hisar-O.
Hisar block 2 may refer to 4 missile for one cell of Midlas.Although the hisar missiles slower than gökdoğan they have more NEZ.
G40 was thought to be a separate missile, based on Gökdoğan components. Not the Gökdemir version.
