Need a bigger pod for such a duty, aint gonna go far with 8 missiles in a high intensity area.

These are 7 and 19 tube 70mm hydra rocket launcher pods US use on their aircrafts and Attack helicopters.
Roketsan has to find a way to increase the number of Cirit missiles the platforms carry.

US helicopters can carry 76 of these 70mm Hydra rockets.

M261 (19 missile) and M260 (7 missile) pods are the US designation for them,
19 missule pod weighs 39.5kg.
Cirit weighs 15 kg.
fully loaded each pod should weigh 325kg.
4 of these pods with missiles makes 1300kg.
Even a Hurkus can manage this weight.
For land launching there should not be a problem.

Yes, standard Hydra70mm are unguided cheap rockets. When made guided, they cost considerably more. So economically loading an expensive amount of munition on to a platform may prove to be uneconomical if they are easy to take out in a skirmish.
So that angle has to be given thought too.

We have never even seen Cirit being launched from these standard Hydra pods since the system was unveiled 20 years ago. Always its own propriety pod in 2x or 4x. We really should. If American use laser guided APKWS IIs from these pods, Cirit should also be able to use them, it's not rocket science. Head seeker should be changed with fin based ones, or any other method.

Especially when it comes to drones, where enemy fires high numbers of UAVs all at once in a saturation or swarm attack. .
Drones are very slow and Cirit lacks the range for bigger engagements. These are very short range, very mobile platforms. Can relocate 60km+ in an hour. Cirit Pusu C-UAV is a good platform for the role. In Ukraine, we never see more than 10 drones going over the same route at the same time.

This can be used by other vehicles like 6x6 or 8x8 or any other larger vehicle. Yalman turret for instance could fire 8 missiles and a large vehicle could carry dozens of missiles internally.

The issue is that cirit has a capsule for what ever reason

There is a lot of chatter in Israeli media that Turkiye now is aiming for Egypt to sell the Russian S400 AD system to.


Again there is the stumbling block of Russian government allowing that to happen.

The S400 system is good for air breathing platforms like jet fighters and transport planes. It is no good for ballistic missiles with a range more than 1000km. Even for them it‘s engagement envelope is greatly reduced to below 60km distance.

Our Siper system probably is already better or at least as good as the Russian system.
Since we can not connect the S400 to our radar systems, the stand alone ground radar of the S400 is not going to be anywhere near as effective as our own. So the much hyped 400km range 40N6 missile will never have an effective range close to that acclaimed value. In fact against low flying aircrafts it will be much worse than our hisar class missiles.

Best thing we can do is to sell it back to Russia since they are currently short of AD systems, if that is not going to create a rift between us and Ukraine and the West.
The Missiles on their own, the ones that S400 uses, are useless to us too since they are specifically engineered to be fired from Russian transport-launch containers and guided by the distinct radar and command-and-control architecture of the S-400 system.

So if we are really serious about the F35 acquisition, the best solution is destroy the buggers or use them as target practice for our missiles.

If not serious about F35s, then stick them in Gaziantep and Hatay mountains in well protected underground positions covering hundreds of kilometres of effective range in the lower Syrian plains.

There is always the option to send them over to protect Kurecik! 🤣
