We want quad, the fourth being EW effector/weapon and perhaps a sono-effector yelling at the incoming threat.
Maybe a Tesla coil electro shocker that sends a lightning to the threat. The laser creates an ionic path which the electroshock follows. Just saying.

I tried to calculate this using the footage... it looks like 32000ft where it shows the drone, +3000 ft for the elevation... so 35000ft is possible. (effective altitude of the target for Hisar is still 32.000ft, the performance will be better than a sea level to 32000ft launch due to less density)

The error margin was very high though, because I used many public photos and drawings of the various Banshee drones and estimated angles, but this crude info supports that Banshee 80 was at high altitude approaching to the test site, i.e. around 20kms range at 35000 ft altitude....

It looks like drone is in a descent too, nose is below horizon, but I don't know what pitch angle is required for this drone for level flight, descent rate could be high or low depending on aerodynamics.

The point is, if someone has a Banshee 80 drone, he can estimate the altitude with much better precision.


Edit: Sorry, the proportion is ok but the distance calculation gave different results (half of those figures) in a second try, probably I made an error yesterday, I'll recalculate it later.
Edit: this is probably from another test flight.
32000ft was probably a calculation error, using the wrong axis for altitude instead of range.... I could not repeat it.
I calculated using 3-4 other references then gave up because the range is always found below 10 kms, but the interception according to videos was between 15-10kms.

Today I tried getting fixes from the photo using terrain features. A very nice intersection appeared at 9.2kms from the launcher, relative altitude is around 14.000ft using the previous method . Probably the part of the footage belongs to another test, like the KGK-SİHA video where the target is hit is actually from an old test by F-16.

Red circle on the last photo is 10 km circle from the launcher.

It includes those mentioned bulletless systems but it does not consist of them only.
Looking at the pictures there is a CIWS and a rocket system involved too.

These types of systems use, COTS. Commercial off-the-shelf parts. You can order them from any part of the world by anyone. It's cheap and can be constantly improved with experience.

What are some of the capabilities of the systems that you can build at home? Fully or supported autonomous flight. Real time flight info and camera footage. Kamikaze capability using open source flight software. Flight without GPS with FPV screen.

Saying it's hard to neutralize because of jamming resistance, low signature is unrealistic. University students can make better systems then the ones used in attacks.

Biggest problem is with this threat is. How cheap it is. Anyone can build these systems. Threat can come from anywhere.

GPS Jamming/Spoofing is effective for autonomous systems. Usually not really effective for manually controlled systems. For manual systems, you have to directly interfere with the RF link.

For many radars, because of low RCS, the detection is very difficult. Easier to detect for high-res radars. After detection, next is to neutralize. You have a lot systems you can use if you are out of city. Limited when you are inside.

Ammunition like 35mm Airburst ATOM can neutralize these targets more cost effectively. But for threats inside the cities it's very difficult. Considering the amount of collateral damage it would cause.

One of the other problem is how close the military bases is built inside cities. Also critical infrastructure like petrochemical refineries are way close to cities too.

Our whole threat assessment has to improve/change. It's a serious threat. Innovative solutions needs to be developed, produced and fielded as soon as possible. Better solutions needs to be developed especially for cities.

Note: Years ago, when I was doing research on this topic at university. When I asked companies for support. They called these small systems "These are kids toys, way too easy". Now they realize how serious threat it is.

Air defence systems are a must. Yes! But they are not foolproof either. In fact there is a big chance that some missiles will pass through the air defence net. The latest Gaza operations have shown to us that out of 3500 or so missiles fired from Palestinian positions a good number of them have ended up in Israel. According to some unconfirmed news coming in, the dead and wounded rate in Israel is more than double of what has been given to media, due to Israeli blockade on news on the matter. Hezbollah, is thought to have 150000+ missiles in it’s possession. These will in the end saturate the Israeli defences.
Although air defence systems are good deterrent against any attacking force, they do not provide 100% cover. Surgical strike capability is very important. Thankfully our most recent attempts have been along the lines of attaining this capability in almost all areas of the warfare; TRG and TRLG series of artillery rockets, Tactical Strike SRBM capability with Bora 1 (and 2 hopefully), 155mm round guidance systems, MAML and MAMC, Teber, KGK, HGK, SOM and Atmaca missiles, Kuzgun and miniature missiles...... The list can go on.
To accompany the surgical strike capacity with a powerful and modern airforce is the key to dominance over enemy. That is where TFX and a CAS Hurjet comes in to play.
It is however, imperative that we have a good and effective air defence system for our navy and of course, Land Forces if we do not want a repeat of another Idlib incident.
G40-ER missile with anti ballistic capability like an Aster-30 is a must. It looks like Tubitak Sage is working on it too.
In the short term next 2-3 years, and in the mid term next 6-7 years will unveil a plethora of new platforms and weapons that will put our armed forces in a different league.
This ball has started to roll in such a way and speed that nothing can alter this now.

You are wrong there is something called physics and it is independent of Roketsans "redacted" range figures.
Hisar-O+ is a 300kg missile with a dual pulse rocket engine. Its flight characteristics are expected to be at least similar(it is in fact way better) to a missile-like ESSM(280kg).
If we are developing a 300kg missile with a 25km range we should stop producing it. There is more info that can be deducted by trained eyes. Like the length and diameter of the missile, the color of the rocket flame, etc.

= Care to explain this seeming discrepancy? To me Okumus gives here the answer as to why Turkish missiles lack in range compared to their more advanced counterparts. Something which I already had in mind but now being validated by a true insider.

E.g. Turkey lacks higher energetic solid-fuel mixtures that prevents a CAMM/Tamir sized missile to be produced that outranges and is 50% lighter than the current Hisar-A+/O+.
