Hope this is not the case. Leopard 2A4 even with armour package is still not up to standards of current threats posed by ATGM and Drone-borne bomblets. Altay Turret with AKKOR is the only viable solution to having a sleek looking platform that can handle numerous threats. Question is however, can Leopard II platform handle a Altay Turret ?
What about PULAT APS that upgraded m60s?

Wouldn't be Pulat optimal solution for LEOs against ATGM/ drones?

It probably has a millimeter wave radar sensor at the tip of the capsule

So how can it determine threats and non threats?
Every approaching object with determined speed within 2 meter is a threat:)

However, the nature of Zaslon makes it an ideal candidate for retrofitting to existing vehicles. Zaslon doesn’t require an additional turret-mounted radar module, and the Zaslon modules are typically placed on the hull rather than the turret, so additional strain on turret drive (as seen with Trophy on the M1 Abrams) is not imparted. Ukrainian sources also state that Zaslon’s simple “detonate” nature is faster than directed active-protection systems like Trophy, as the “hard kill” countermeasure does not need to turn and aim at a target first.

Of course, Zaslon has the major drawback of being fatal to friendly infantry surrounding a tank, which can pose problems in situations where infantry and tanks work in close cooperation. The US has hesitated to field APS on most tanks for this reason, opting for directed systems. However, this “shotgun” lethality can be a benefit, and there are controls to extend and detonate Zaslon modules as a last-ditch anti-infantry weapon.

Blood loss is going on for someone; the first is share in TRMotor, and then Leo modernization. There’s a possibility for the main company in the future.

Leopard2A4 with Roketsan T1 armor and Pulat for sure is up-to-date, more than any available modern Tank without APS.

If 360° protection is needed AKKOR can be added, this Altay turret proposal would become to expensive we are modernizing decade old Tanks.

The LeoTay upgrade looked absolutely atrocious but it was atleast up to modern standards for present threats. I always assumed the Leopard2 as a result would have gotten some extra goodies such as active protection system, third generation thermal sights on front and top, SARP turret, Air Conditioning System, Laser Warning Receivers and many other stuff. You know, those things that it was advertised to be included with. Just plain armor upgrade is completely pointless. At some point we really have to stop half-assing our upgrades

Is Pulat b integrated to Leos? Unless there is no APS, I don't think any additional armor make difference against modern ATGMs

Without APS any currently availible Tank is easy prey for ATGM especially if they have top attack capabilities, that is a fact.

If Pulat is not integrated on that modernization programm then it's a pretty useless modernization.

Wouldn’t any modern tank be outfitted with some drone for surveillance Ahead or possible ambush spots.

Given the latest battlefields and results. We’d need an ucav above the area where personelle is moving around to spot and strike. I was thinking the tank could have a radar signal booster to relay and increase operationsl range.

For those missions we have Korkut CIWS, İHTAR anti-drone weapons . You can't put on every tank CİWS , can you?

Leo roketsan armour package with PULAT APS would be optimal solution. Finally Korkut CIWS will cover 20-30 tanks against drone attacks.

If Akkor is designed to hit ATGM’s then shouldn’t it be able to hit munitions like MAM-L as well?
