The engine from the clip screenshot definitely looks like BMC BATU short-stroke engine.
Are the transmissions used in long stroke engines also suitable for short stroke engines? As far as I know, they are not suitable. In one of the previous presentations, they was said that if the domestic transmission could not reach mass production, SNT EST15K automatic transmission could be fitted to the BATU engine. That's why I deduced that the BATU engine is also long stroke engine like Korea's Doosan engine.

Long or short stroke doesn‘t influence compatibility with transmission. Afaik there‘re other factors like bolt pattern and torque converter.

The Renk HSWL 295 transmission in K2 MBT works fine with the former MTU MT883 Ka-500 short-stroke engine and new Doosan DV27K long-stroke.

More RPM causes overheating.

Look at motorcycle engines. Bike engines are short stroke. Due to more RPM they always have overheating issues especially racing bikes.
The most important problem of shortstroke( bike )engines is: Their lifespan is 10 times less than automobile engines. More RPM wears out engine faster.

Edit:
The Korean engine is better choice than German one.
Moreover, the longer piston , the more torque.

MTU 883 seems to give Maximum torque at higher RPMs.
No idea about Korean engine. Korean engine is said to have longer "Connecting Rot", so theoretically the Korean engine should produce more torque at lower RPMs.

Edit: i am puzzled
Korean engine at higher RPMs don't lose Torque as German one.

DV27K:
Peak torque rate is 4560N.M @ 2000rpm. It reaches 1479hp @ 2700rpm.

Anyway DV27K's long stroke is more reliable to me .

In generally yes, but you forget 1 thing. Two stroke engine have less turning mechanical parts so maitaining is cheaper and simple. Two stroke engines do not have camshaft and valves, and diesel 2 stroke do not have high rpm like petrol engines.

Short/long stroke and 2/4 strokes are different things.

German engines have better power and torque to weight ratio and the powerpack is more compact and lighter than its competition. For us, the best engine is our engine.

Altay's Korean engine is "better"*( reliable) than German because it is heavier and engine has longer connecting Rot.

Being compact and light doesn't make an engine better!

Being compact and light just causes more troubles. I am hundred percent sure MTU has a crazy German complicated cooling system which must overcome overheating problems( another crazy German engineering)

I don't know what do you mean with "best power/torque ratio" but i shared above Korean engine outputs which is more consistent at high RPMs.

Koreans must have tried to solve MTUs disadvantages.

Armies preferred MTU 883 because there weren't any other diesels.

Is the ATGM a Kornet or Omtas or Karaok ? and wouldn't the exhaust at the moment of launch effect or may damage the optical equipment specially the system at the right ( the one close to Erdogan image ) ?

Then I have a question. It was written in this forum that Korea has started to develop a new short-stroke engine and a new transmission for it. If transmissions can work regardless of long stroke engine or short stroke engine, then why is Korea developing a new transmission? Moreover, it was announced that the defects in the old transmission (SNT EST15K automatic transmission) were fixed.
