Is there any guess on per unit cost?
It will be cheap because existing MKE Panthers will be used. I don't think it will be more expensive than 5 million if bought brand new including MKE 155mm Gun.

There won't be an autoloader.

About Firtina II Production and Delivery

140 T-155 Self-Propelled Storm Howitzers into the inventory between 2022-2027 .
The production of 3 New Generation Storm Howitzers was completed in December 2020, and it is anticipated that 3 more will be completed by June 2021.”

> These first 6 were likely the Firtina IIs with MTU 1000HP Engines.

Therefore, based on this information, a total of 12 FIRTINA-II K/M Howitzers were produced and ready for delivery in 2021 and 2022, 6+6.
There is a delay in the delivery process of the 'Turkish Power Group' consisting of the engine and the X1100™-5A4 Transmission. However, according to the information we obtained in the first half of 2022, the deliveries of the AVDS-1790-9A Diesel Engine with a capacity of 1,200hp were to begin in June 2022.
Within the scope of the agreement, the first of the 53 engines planned to be delivered for 2022 was to be delivered to Turkey in June, while the remaining engines would be delivered to Turkey in batches until the end of 2022.

> The last 6 Firtina IIs were likely with AVDS-1790 Engines. Since BMC Power UTKU will be ready in 2025

140 Firtina IIs between 2022-2027 - 12 that were delivered
128 Firtina IIs in the backlog until 2027 which equates to 32 SPH a Year or 2.5 a Month.

According to DefenceTurkey at least 53 AVDS-1790s were to be delivered in June 2022 and the rest until the end of 2022.

With a production rate of 2.5 SPHs a Year, there will be (24*2,5) 60 + 12 = 72 Firtina IIs in 2025
and the second the rest of ca. 70 SPHs would be delivered BMC POWER UTKU Engines.

That would seem plausible. Lets hope they can get it together. This Project has been dragging on for too long.

Lovely stuff. Notice how it flies much higher than those jerry-rigged stuff Ukrainians use. That's a gamechanger!

Interesting setup on the Fırtına NG/II. Turns out the Sarp RCWS is retractable to achieve lower silhouette.

I don't know much about mortars. It it being wobbly after leaving the barrel that much normal?

2 years ago, a single 120mm Alkar equipped Vuran was also delivered to the army. Did we see a follow up order? Why does army hate automation?
