Not long ago Astana and Yerevan became sister cities.

Why not? We support Kazakh positiv influence on Armenia.

The French newspaper Le Monde yesterday (24.04.24) continued its eternal lament about the "poor" Armenians with the article "Azerbaijan asserts itself as a regional power".
According to the author, the aggressor is not Armenia, which was supported by France for 30 years, but Azerbaijan. This cry is very long, so I will quote only a few: -
"Taking advantage of the military weakening of Armenia and its former Russian ally, Baku achieved the withdrawal of Russian troops from Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as territorial concessions from Yerevan, while continuing to suppress the internal opposition."
I draw the attention of the readers of the "respected edition" to the very first sentence. Why is the opposition mentioned here? How does it relate to this? Like no one. But the author, inappropriately mentioning the opposition in the first paragraph, immediately sets up the readers as he wants, that is, against Azerbaijan and in favor of Armenia. This is a fairly common practice among French journalists. In plain language, this is called fraud.
Further, for example, I will give another sentence from the author:
“Armenia, suffering from the strengthening of its northern neighbor and under constant military pressure, is “behaving well” in the negotiations on border delimitation and has already agreed to the return of 4 villages occupied in the early 90s of the last century to Azerbaijan.”

That is, the occupier is Armenia! But she's good!

Azerbaijan suffered from the occupation of Armenia!
But, nevertheless, according to the author, it is Azerbaijan that is bad

That is why the opposition is mentioned at the very beginning of the article.
I will add that France officially supported the aggressor - Armenia - for 30 years! And now she began to arm him.

By the way, the author is not familiar with the region he writes about - Azerbaijan is not the “northern neighbor” of Armenia!!! :ROFLMAO:

Draw your own conclusions.

The New Era in Caucasian is coming, there is no role for Russia and İran.

"Armenia may become a recipient of gas from Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani President Aliyev said. Azerbaijani media reported this.

According to him, Baku also has information that Armenia wants to join the Black Sea energy cable. But Yerevan cannot do this due to unsettled relations with Azerbaijan."

Armenia has only to sign the peace treaty, and their economy will boom immediately.

Chairman of the Armenian Parliament Alen Simonyan immediately responded to Aliyev's gas offer: "Armenia is ready to buy gas from Azerbaijan."

But Simonyan says that they want to buy gas at the cheap price that Baku sells to Georgia.

They set us a condition:LOL:

But Baku also has conditions:
1. Armenia should change the Constitution;
2. The image of Mount Ararat from the coat of arms of Armenia.
must be removed;
3. The Zangezur corridor should be opened and placed under the control of Azerbaijan.

I think that when winter comes, Armenians will agree to change not only the Constitution, but also the name of their country.
Russia is preparing to punish Armenia. They will probably cut their gas first.
In this case, who will “warm up” the Armenia?
Of course, Azerbaijan.

P.S. The word "warm up" has different meanings :)

Did he say what I think he said ? That he signed a deal for Russian peacekeepers to operate a zangezur corridor ? And have a permanent presence?

The west will see supporting Armenia as a way to eradicate Russia from the Caucasus by preventing this

He is referring to 2020 trilateral statement:

“The Republic of Armenia shall guarantee the security of transport connections between the western regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in order to arrange unobstructed movement of persons, vehicles and cargo in both directions. The Border Guard Service of the Russian Federal Security Service shall be responsible for overseeing the transport connections.”

As for the second part of your comment: What happened to Gyumri military base and Erebuni airbase? Or that Armenia is still a member of CSTO and EAEU? Armenia has profited immensely from being a EAEU member, thanks to re-export to and from Russia following the sanctions.

To the people who bitched about Azerbaijanis celebrating a wedding by stepping on the Armenian flag.

Dont forget how they burn our flags and desecrate it.

Id say payback is all good. Our flags are a red line.

Is this the rundown of the conflict?

>be globohomo shill Armenian prime minister
>never formally recognise Artsakh
>Russia is trying to stay the bestest of tomodachis with both Armenia and Azerbaijan
>Russians even sell you weapons at a discount, they're basically tard gibs
>constantly shit on Russia because Armenia is a stronk and independent western puppet who don't need no gopniks
>give the Russians all the convenient excuse they need to dump you
>still hope that Russia would save your ass in case the Azeris start shit
>Karabakh 2: Retard Boogaloo
>ask Russia for help now that the Azeris are occupying some Armenian border hamlets
>but still talk shit about Russia
>Russia tells you to fuck off
>surprisedpikachu.jpeg
>have very shaky peace agreement with Azerbaijan brokered by Russia
>Russia is meanwhile busy with the SpedOp in Ukraine and really doesn't want to piss off the Turks at the moment
>throw Artsakh under the short bus by declaring that all of Karabakh is rightful Azeri clay
>Azeris are very greatful to you and proceed to steamroll Artsakh
>still expect Russia to go to war with Azerbaijan, and by extension Turkey itself, on your behalf
>over an unrecognised Armenian meme state you yourself abandoned to the wolves
>expect Russia to fix your fuckups
>Russia once again says "lol no"
>surprisedpikachu.jpeg
>whine about how unrealiable the Russians are for "failing" to protect Artsakh
>despite Artsakh not being part of any alliance, not even with Armenia itself
>beg your westoid sponsors for help
>predictably, they give you nothing but thots and prayers because you're neither Israel nor are you a slushfund for the MIC, Blackedrock and muttoid senators like Ukraine
>surprisedpikachu.jpeg
>womp womp
>you basically just oopsed what is for all intents and purposes the Second Armenian Genocide into existence
>???

Yesterday in Yerevan a sad procession took place in the direction of the capital's cemetery. It's not entirely clear in the video what's happening. Judging by the flag, the “second Armenian state of Artsakh” is being buried.

Finally, Armenia has found a worthy place for its bastard!!!

After Azerbaijan’s victory in the Karabakh war, Russia’s attitude towards it changed greatly.
Today we are no longer a country with which we can speak in a mentoring tone.

Armenia, with the support of the West, especially the United States and Firengistan, wants to expel the Russian military base from its territory.
And now Azerbaijan has become, as it were, Russia’s last hope in the South Caucasus ;)

In a video published by Budrooo news 10 days ago, Putin, after negotiations, personally escorts the President of Azerbaijan to his car.

O tempora!!!:)

India’s SSS Defense gets exports order for .338 Sniper rifles from an undisclosed friendly country

Reportedly Armenia

1714750860797.png

India’s defense manufacturing sector witnessed a significant milestone as an Indian private firm secured a tender to export 0.338 Lapua Magnum sniper rifles to a friendly nation, marking a substantial step in India’s defense export capabilities

The recent tender win by an Indian private firm for the export of 0.338 Lapua Magnum sniper rifles signifies a significant achievement for India’s defense export ambitions. The undisclosed friendly nation’s selection of Indian sniper rifles underscores the quality and reliability of Indian defense equipment on the global stage. This success also reflects the competitive edge that Indian manufacturers can offer in terms of cost-effectiveness and versatility.

Challenges and Opportunities:
While this export triumph is laudable, challenges persist in fully harnessing India’s defense export potential. The advantage of economies of scale due to domestic requirements presents an opportunity for Indian manufacturers to expand their capabilities and compete globally. The Government of India’s proactive measures to promote defense exports, as highlighted by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh’s vision of achieving ₹50,000 crore in exports within five years, signify a promising trajectory for the sector. Encouraging private sector participation, leveraging technological advancements, and addressing regulatory hurdles will be crucial in realizing India’s potential as a major player in the global defense export market.

Overall, the successful export of 0.338 Lapua Magnum sniper rifles by an Indian private firm reflects India’s growing assertiveness and competence in the defense manufacturing arena. This achievement not only highlights the quality of Indian defense equipment but also underscores the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead in fully capitalizing on India’s defense export potential. With strategic initiatives and industry collaboration, India is poised to emerge as a key player in the global defense export landscape.

Armenian opposition
dissatisfied with Pashinyan’s policy on delimiting the border with Azerbaijan. The opposition announced the “Tavush Movement in the Name of the Motherland,” led by Tavush Archbishop Bagran Galstanyan. They began marching towards Yerevan and plan to arrive there on May 9. The Russian-backed Armenian opposition is demanding Pashinyan's resignation. By the way, Pashinyan started his revolution in 2018 from this very area (Dilijan).

Here he is Galstyan. Russian FSB agent, part-time Armenian archbishop

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will not go to the inauguration of Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow. Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Alen Simonyan told reporters about this.

Armenian political scientist Sergey Melkonyan: - Pashinyan participated in Erdogan’s swearing-in ceremony and refused to go to Putin’s swearing-in ceremony.

That's actually something I didn't know. Very interesting.

Hopefully we all see the day when relations are normalised entirely between Armenia and Turkiye + Azerbaijan.

I saw some travel vlogs to Armenia by Turkish tourists too recently....I was quite surprised this is happening, but its good way forward slowly.

The Tavush for the Motherland movement, which completed a six-day march, approached Yerevan this morning. The initially small group was joined by hundreds of people, including many opposition organizations and political parties. The movement, led by Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, is preparing to hold a rally against the Pashinyan government in the center of the capital at noon today.
The Pashinyan government admitted that 4 villages located on the border with Azerbaijan were occupied by Armenia 32 years ago and these villages should be returned to Azerbaijan as part of the delimitation carried out by the parties. However, this is opposed by the Armenian Apostolic Church (AAC), which opposes Pashinyan’s rule. The AAC itself became a political party and united almost all opposition forces. What does the Armenian “peace-loving” Christian Church call for?
To revenge!
To war!
