BBC as it's usual anti-Turkish best.
Recent years have amazingly shown how once respectful media outlets could be just bought or hijacked by biasedly opinionated individuals under the guise of "freedom of expression" or even be bought with money.

These used to be common practices of tabloids, but more and more serious and mostly professional media outlets are following suite. It's a disgrace!

The Iranians have laid claim to countless Azerbaijani empires, states, traditions and people for many years now. The entire reason Iran is even Shia is because of the Safavid empire whom were Azeri Turks. They go that extra mile and even say Nader Shah is Iranian/Persian. You are active at defence.pk, you just have to look at their names and profiles pics to see all the shit they are unashamingly stealing. No doubt there is shared history between them but for the most part they have their own distinct history that are being twisted and superverted into the chauvanist agenda of your average generic Persian nationalist dumbfucks.

The founder of Safavids were half Persian half Kurd.

Turks united between eachother is the worst case scenario for Iranian regime. They are using many religious stories to keep Turks living in Iran in their hands. They are producing an unreal history to impose a policy as if all Turkish cultural elements are actually a part of Persian culture and nothing is Turkish about Azerbaijan. They know the rising natonalistic feelings among Turks will cause them big problems in future so they are so sensitive and aggressive when the subject is about Turks and our success in field. I think Turkey is establishing a big base to Azerbaijan now. They are taking all these developments as a threat to their national security because they have openly played wrong horse and this was accepted as an open hostility to Turkish identity in region. Turks living in Iran protested weapon supply of Iranian for Armenia. Brothers living different sides of the river congratulated eachother and became as happy as Turks living in Azerbaijan and Turkiye but I can’t say same for ethnic Persians. Many of them declared Turks supporting Azerbaijan as a “traitor” and jailed many of them. These are the things Iran has never predicted before. They are one of the biggest loser of Karabakh conflict and they will suffer more in following years. Israel and Turkey started to negotiate as well. Regional dynamics will change in following period. Firstly, we saw their terrorists collected all around the region against us in Idlib war. We sent them back to the place where they must stay with hundreds of body packages. Later, They supported Armenians against us and they are now moaning which is normal.

Negotiate with Israel and US to push out Shia proxy in Iraq and Syria.

Does anyone know if some of these (that are in ok enough state) will be refurbished and re-used by Azerbaijan?
A lot of the equipment was captured in a fully working condition or with minor damage that should be easy to fix. Vehicles and quipment that need more significant repairs are classified as 'damaged and captured' in the list.

That said, it remains to be seen if there's an actual need for most of the captured equipment. Armenia suffered such significant losses that there's little reason for Azerbaijan to increase the size of its military with dozens of additional tanks, howitzers and trucks.

Some of them were successfully used in active combat. I don't see a reason why Azerbaijan wouldn't fill its lost arsenal and even enlarge it with the captured equipment. There are a lot of tanks and APCs for example that are fully intact or other that needs repair and are ready for service. It will be a sin to throw them away like that. Also another possibility is that all or some of the equipment is sold to other countries that needs them.

Yes but I believe Azerbaijan only goes back to full time peace mode when it has all of N-K reclaimed or signed permanent peace (and hopefully a longer term normalisation path) with Armenia in some other agreement.

Till then the (captured + refurbished) equipment at very least makes up good reserve war material if there is not a present short - mid term use, need or capacity to absorb them in the azeri military for active duty.

Azeris will also have to work up some newer paradigms/aces up sleeve in warfare past drones (which are now revealed) as Armenians (and Russians) clearly will game that in from this point forward.

Anyway it will be interesting bunch of years (and decade at large) coming up, let us see.

Yah I would definitely go beef up arsenal or reserves rather than selling to other countries.

These will not fetch much on foreign markets compared to their utility for Azeris directly

There is also the positive morale for Azeri forces to harness by having these around...or spread a demoralisation on Armenians by marking these a different way and showing them now and then etc. Azeri psy-ops, lets see how it goes. These things don't have directly accessible monetary value....the larger world of Esprit de corps...
