If this is true... I wonder how it feels like to live this long, what thoughts do you develop over such a time frame and what your beliefs are
Oldest person I ever interacted with at length was my great grandpa who lived near to 100 years old.
He had uncomfy relationship with my branch of family (given close dear proximity in earlier years and a sour family drama that upset it) at that stage of life.....but he opened up to me as kind of way (I figure in hindsight as I was too young to know any of this back then) of making amends for that. I guess its lot easier with a kid...that reminded him of simpler earlier time.
But most of how his thoughts, demeanour and perspective changed was given over longer time by my parents.... the inner layers to the oak tree I remember. It is considerably different for each person....we tend to think all elder folk are somewhat the same by virtue of ripe age.....but they are incredibly different IMO just like at any other age.
The other "oldest" person I talked with (outside family and when I was far older myself) was close friend's grandma, some of the account found (in the middle somewhere) here:
Free speech and threat to security of state.
@Nilgiri @T-123456 @Saithan @Joe Shearer if you guys are bored then you can read the above to get even more bored :p :p :p To quote Joe....I read HISTORY...owie my head hurts! I'll just say I have my strong opinion on the 1st amendment as I am staunch libertarian (in the North American sense...

BTW, w.r.t my "oor-appa" great-grandpa....he had a grandfather clock (its still there in another family branch house today and when there I look upon it and remember him). It somewhat reminds me of this folk song I learned in school...we would sing at assembly fairly regularly:
I am 50 years short.
Would my perspective on how views change help?
Yes.
