They are trying to deviate the protesting ppl's attention fro the govt misactions to a potential war between US and KSA on the pretext of the reformation if the shia empire

Dont know whether it will succeed or not as this is not the ideal time for a war for Iran since their main backers, Russia and China, have a lot on their plates from a current war to an economic turmoil pot-Covid respectively

IMO, if the news are true, then this proves how unstable the current regime in Iran is right now

I remamber once they were protesting in the street and calling for boycott of american goods in general.

The day was very hot. When the protest ended everybody has been served a cold bottle of Coca-Cola from the organizers!
