HÜRJET is in production phase, assembly work continues

Prototypes will arrive by 2023

We anticipate it to enter the Air Force inventory in 2025.

We will use the General Electric F404 engine in HURJET

The same team is in charge of the Hürjet and MMU project.

The flight of the model that came out of the hangar will be made at the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026.

First flight with GE F110 engine

When MMU enters the inventory, the domestic engine will be ready in 2029-2030.

Wasnt the prototype of hurjet gonna be revealed in 2022 and first flight in 2023?
Pls dont tell me that they postponed it again?

The rollout was in 2022 but Kotil later said there will be no rollout. The Hurjet will likely be ready in 2022 but will not be unveiled at a ceremony.
So we wont get to see Hurjet in 2022?

Ohwell, he did say early this year that it was going to fly in 2022 - early 2023 it is then (fingers crossed)

Damn, I do remember that they said the prototype will be ready in the early months of 2022.
Well minor setbacks are expected in such projects. I believe even the koreans suffered massive delays with their KF-X

KFX/IFX started in 2011. There was delayed during 2013-2014 which is related to Korean side and more about financing and approval from their parliament. 2015 then the deal reached with Indonesia for the second phase of development. The timing is similar with the start of AMCA

I am very excited about hurjet. If only we could see the production of the prototype.

Hurjet is really a big achievement for TAI. T 50 Golden Eagle of Korea in the other hand gets significant LM contribution and assistance, particularly during design phase.

Öztürk: "Hürjet is slightly smaller than the F-16 but has many close features. Future versions will differ, of course. In particular, studies on material selection are ongoing."

Hürjet design is freezed. Design engineers will focus on MMU while test etc ones will focus on Hürjet

Ground test usually takes about a year, even a simple plane like N 219 needs more than a year of ground test before making maiden flight.

About TFX it is Block 0 that is the real prototype that will undergone maiden flight, only about 1 year between prototype Block 0 roll out and maiden flight of TFX. You can look on the time table that has been posted in this thread.

Hürjet will be ground tested for close to a year.
Then the date March 18th for the first flight no longer holds. It will be more like closer to the end of 2023. Maybe on October 29th?
