They have no saying in tei!! They have less than 50 percent share. Having ge is a bonus for us!! Beside two, they have an engineering office in Türkiye aswell!!We were in a similar situation with LM in TAI now we are better off without them.
Same thing can happen with GE. We can still do their work if they still want but they will not have any say in what we are doing, anyway.
Hahaha wtf man! that is very unfriendly action after design completed. It's a fcking trainer! not a ballistic missile... god.. Fck US buy EF2000 and engines. I hope this is just a rumor otherwise things will get worseI asked again just to be sure. It has become clear that an embargo has been placed on Hürjet prototypes.

Summary?Congratulations Tolga Özbek. He's doing a really good job with reportages.
He didn't directly. He was a happy chap tho.Summary?
Did he refute the rumors about the US embargoing the F404 engine?
Love Tolga Özbek.Congratulations Tolga Özbek. He's doing a really good job with reportages.
Already two friends are working at TAI. But the friend who gives information about the latest situation takes part in the project himself.@Bogeyman ,
I would like to ask a simple question about the news of a possible embargo on F404 engines you brought up last night;
We read in the news about the prototype engines having been delivered during the course of last few months.
Were these news false?

I don't know how but my friends who works in TAI are telling otherwise but in depth, yet i prefer not to leak it in here for sake of clarity. Maybe it is not for best to mention further about this rumor until it is assured. There is another dimension of these rumors that i think it is not directly related to Hurjet, or actually not a formal sanction but something else i prefer not to unfold at this moment. Fınally, to my knowledge engines of the prototypes are delivered with the spares and the orders made for serial production are also on the queue.Already two friends are working at TAI. Frankly, I can't think of a more reliable source than an engineer who personally took part in the project. By the way, the fact that the official authorities do not talk about this issue may be to prevent a new crisis between the USA and Turkey. Negotiations for the sale of F-16s will become more difficult in a crisis environment.
Then we'll wait and see.I don't know how but my friends who works in TAI are telling otherwise but in depth, yet i prefer not to leak it in here for sake of clarity. Could we say: "No problem for prototypes and orders placed by TR"?Directly received info from Tusaş in SAHA, There is no problem or F404 embargo for Hürjet.
