LAD-820 has the capability to perform video overlays onto a dual redundant, separately addressable, two left and right 1280x1024 resolution half displays via one 2560x1024 resolution AMLCD. In addition, LAD-820 has capability to display video that has 2560x1024 resolution.

Dual redundant, separately addressable, two left and right 1280x1024 resolution half displays prevent loss of both displays due to the single point failures.

Any work or plan on developing engine locally or choosing EJ200 as alternative for Hurjet and other fighter? Also any update on BVR integration (and other types of missiles) and naval Hurjet?

If the APU of the engine they produced was constantly failing, shouldnt they just manufacture a new one? I guess that this was their excuse to try and hinder the project for as long as possible for political agenda especially when the elections are close; however, when Temil Kotil threatened them, they felt that having their near-impeccable reputation as the top engine producer would take a hit; thus, giving a second hand one

I mean how can a company that produces hundreds of engines for at least a decade fail in making an APU for an old engine for gods sake
People forget easily how complex such engines are, a faulty component can render an engine unreliable.
I dont think any company in the world whose reputation depends on reliability such as a jet engine manufacturer would risk this.

Things happen sometimes, anyone working in technical field can confirm that, no need to find a conspiracy theory for every single thing.

And GE is not in a hurry for an election propaganda unlike TAI or others.. They just do their work according to regular schedule, make sure everything is tested, reliable etc, nobody is pushing them to finish things before May.

I had mentioned this before about Akaer, that they are very much involved in the design and development of structure and airframe geometry of our Hurjet.
You have rightfully highlighted this issue in your post. They are the right people to be associated with when it comes to airframe design for fighter planes.
They did a similar job with the Gripen E&F that had upgraded f414 engines. These planes are Mach 2 class planes that can supercruise (sustained 1+ Mach speed without Afterburners) probably one of the most agile fighters around. Most likely in part, thanks to Akaer.

@Radonsider Could it be because they are prioritizing the TF-X instead ? Wouldn’t it be more beneficial if they did it themselves ? Especially for their first training jet ?

Probably, but it is not like TAI doesn't learn anything from the parts which got Akaer presence.

Also a bit safer i would say, as Akaer is a really experienced company with lots of experience in these kinds of projects

Atak, Anka, Aksungur, Gokbey productions, Anka 3, Atak 2, Hurjet and MMU processes. They cant do everything alone. They are already doing a great job.

Needless to say I'd think but here we are: There a schedules, milestones and to keep them at check penalties in these commercial contracts. GE not delivering will cost them, GE delivering faulty equipment will cost them and tarnish their brand. GE is a company, their interest is foremost their shareholders and losing money is obviously not in their interest.

Some people act like companies are all obedient and do all sorts of muddy things because their government asks them to do, when in reality the opposite is the case, where companies bend the law and sanctions to get more revenue and contracts.

We don't have to assume a grand conspiracy behind everything in the world.

Currently no, but I hope TAI is smart enough to make the Hurjet available in 2 engine choices (like F16 has choice between GE and P&W engine). If Hurjet is also available with EJ200 it would be able to sell it to countries where the US blocks the US engine

Couldn't TEI build an engine for Hurjet in the future?

Maybe in the future, but priority is the engine for MMU. So we are talking about years
