Not me yet (probably later in year when all priority list is done w.r.t Canada).

But my dad (in his mid 60s) has received both his doses of astrazeneca (in India where he is), i.e fully immunized.

He didn't have any secondary effects except a mild soreness in the area of injection.

My mom will be getting her shot (I believe moderna or biontech as she is in Singapore) soon.

No, and it would surprise me if I get it before the end of summer with the slow ness in Germany.

Yes, mate I have. I got my first Pfizer shot in February and few days ago got my second jab. My parents both in their their 80s got it last December. On both occasions I got it in the morning and felt fine but by late afternoon got what I would describe as flu like symptoms and by evening I felt fatigue. So I went to bed early and was knocked out as soon as my head hit the pillow. Next day I felt entirely fine. I was only left with local tenderness at the site of the injection but which went away within two days.

I can validate that UK government has really done well. I know you often hear governments bragging but on the ground your wondering what they on about. But I have seen close up the effort. The vaccine hub was a medical centre and everything was perfectly organized. I just walked to the centre and before entering my temp was checked using that scanner. I gave my details and then just stood in a moving row with safe distances marked. There were wardens watching and helping with the process which was steady. I was done within 10 minutes of arriving.

To give you idea of efficiency my parents were done months ago, me and my wife also done. And most surprising both of grown children in their 20s were also done consequent on their occupations being classed as essential.

So this indeed has been a UK success. In fact I believe the NHS is now preparing for the winter boosters to fortify against variants that might emerge.

Shame that people call it Pfizer, when its really Biontech that developed it. Nothing against you @Kaptaan, just a general observation.

That’s what you get when brandname isn’t evaluated high by turks, quickbuck only.

Denmark is around 1 mii vaccinated atm. My wife, oldest brother and hos wife also got theirs. It was Biontech/pfizer. My mom got moderna in march I think. They all complained about sore muscles, but that is to be expected, and tiredness etc.

The general name given here is Pfizer although, yes as you pointed out the proper name is Pfizer-Biontech. And I am aware that it's actually of Turkish origin. The other one is called Astrazenaca even if the proper name is Oxford-Astrazeneca.

Not yet but im a bit worried about the side effects like blood clots.

Same here. I know this is only few cases out of millions vaccinated, but I don't want to be part of the "few cases".

I'll be holding off from getting the vaccine, as my age group 20-29 risk to benefit is negligible.

My mother got both doses (Astra Zeneca). No serious side effects, just a slight fever after the first dose.

Ok guys I have received my first pfizer dose today. It was very well organized and was done under 30 minutes. (Had to wait 15 minutes there after the vaccination just in case)

Till now I don't feel anything. Hope for the best!

My parents and brother got the Sinovac vaccine and they had some soreness on the injection area for a few days. I also know some people who got the BionTech vaccine and they said they had flu-like symptoms for a day in addition to soreness.
