JEALOUSY THROUGH THE ROOF.... MBLEDOS

Edit : Likely Tunisian Air Force will replace their F-5 with F-35, just my opinion. if yes, surely they will say goodbye to F-5 with smile.

Tunisian GDP is only about $40 bil (nominal) and $135 bil (PPP). They can't afford to buy F-35.

This is only for maintenance service.

It's a subcontractor scheme.

There's no actual mention of Tunisia planning on ordering F-35's.

Ya, i know. But, I see they are have the situation of Poland here or "kind of like" Poland, with PW in their country. Based on that, I think their government will have thought on F-35. But, back again, we don't know the future, maybe they will buy the cheaper F-16 or else, we don't know.

How will they operate F-35s when they can't even afford to operate more F-16s and F-5s than us right now? Do they want to operate like 2-5 F-35s and nothing else? I doubt it. They don't have the money. Buying "new" F-16s or something similar would make more sense. They're just gonna be the service center for P&W F135 engines in the region. Nothing to be jealous about.

Future can be anytime wkwk, not just 3-5 years ahead. And even became chosen to handle the engine is big, man, that means a lot.

No way.
F15/18, f16, rafale, typhoon, flanker E at the same time?

I'll bet f15‐rafale combo.

I am too not believe it in the first glance of their plan....the most craziest ever implementation of never put all of your eggs in one basket. Just see the revealing later on, that's why i rarely comment in this fighter matter anymore

That's very sad if this bears out as it looks like now.
