I had a mix of vomiting 🤮 (muntah) + laughing 🤪 reading this
After what happened few days ago, the leaks of personal datas, that just made me sceptical or even cynical towards the government's cyber things. 200 million-ish data were leaked. Like WTF.... that almost or if not, the whole country registrated populations. SHAME ON INDONESIA !!!, our country is amateur even compared to private companies.

Deep in my heart, I want to move to US or Holland so bad 😢😢. Don't have to end with citizenship, at least green card or Dutch equivalent of that.

Jakarta: The ASEAN manufacturing sector continued on its recovery path during May, according to latest IHS Markit Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI™) data.

The headline PMI registered 51.8 in May, down only slightly from 51.9 in April, to signal a third straight monthly improvement in ASEAN manufacturing conditions and one that was the second strongest since July 2014.

"The ASEAN manufacturing sector continued to recover during May, with sustained upturns in both output and new work. The rates of growth cooled slightly on the month, but were still strong overall," said IHS Market Economist Lewis Cooper in a press release issued on Wednesday.

"Supply chains remained under severe pressure, however, with delays the most widespread for a year, while input prices again rose at the most marked rate since November 2013," Cooper added.

At the national level, growth was led by Indonesia in May. The headline PMI hit a series record high of 55.3 and pointed to a sharp improvement in conditions. Sustained growth was also
recorded in Vietnam, although the headline figure slipped slightly from April's near two-and-a-half-year high. Nonetheless, at 53.1, the PMI was indicative of solid growth.

Singapore meanwhile saw a return to growth, following a slight decline during April. The headline index (51.7) was the highest for three months and signalled a mild improvement in
manufacturing conditions overall. The only other constituent nation to see growth in May was Malaysia. Here, the headline index remained above 50.0 for the second month running,
although the rate of growth eased noticeably on the month (PMI at 51.3).

Elsewhere, manufacturing conditions were broadly stable in the Philippines following a contraction in April, with the headline PMI registering only just below the 50.0 mark at 49.9.
Thailand meanwhile saw a renewed deterioration during May, with the headline figure falling to a three-month low of 47.8.

Finally, the downturn in Myanmar continued midway through the second quarter. The rate of contraction slowed for the second month in a row, but remained severe overall (PMI at 39.7).

President Joko Widodo or Jokowi tested the Greater Jakarta LRT or Jobodebek (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Bekasi) LRT from the Harjamukti Station, Cibubur, to the Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) Station. Jokowi pointed out that the Jabodebek LRTs were all made by SOEs.

The companies responsible for the project are train manufacturer PT Industri Kereta Api (INKA), construction company PT Adhi Karya, electronic manufacturers PT Len Industri, and railway company PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI).
Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi said that such a collaboration will be applied in the construction of mass transportation modes in other big cities.

The 44.43 km LRT construction has reached 84.6 percent completion. In April 2022, the Jabodebek LRT will be tested and targeted to officially become operational in June 2022 and integrated with other public transportation modes, such as trans-Jakarta, commuter line, MRT, and the most recently constructed Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train.

According to Jokowi, experience from a major construction like this is needed and will be the foundation of future projects. Jokowi voiced his hope of exporting the LRT project to other countries as Indonesia has already exported trains to Bangladesh and the Philippines.

source : Link

pabrik-daur-ulang-2-luar.jpg

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Industry Minister Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita has inaugurated Indonesia’s largest polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottle-to-bottle recycling plant built by PT Veolia Services Indonesia in collaboration with Danone-AQUA.

"The construction of a plastic bottle/PET recycling plant by PT Veolia Services Indonesia and (the decision by) Danone-AQUA (of) using (recycled) plastic waste (products) demonstrates the concrete commitment of the two companies to support sustainable development,” the minister said in a written statement released on Wednesday.

The plant has been built on 22 thousand square meters of land in the Pasuruan Industrial Estate Rembang (PIER), East Java, with the building itself covering an area of seven thousand square meters, Kartasasmita informed.

The construction of the recycling plant kicked off in March, 2019. Built at an estimated cost of Rp600 billion, the Veolia Indonesia plant has the capacity to produce 25 thousand tons of recycled plastic (RPET) meeting the best food security standard (food-grade quality) every year, the minister said.

The plant, which has employed more than 200 local workers, will use modern technology to separate caps and labels from bottles quickly, he added.

The construction of the recycling plant demonstrates the contribution of Veolia Indonesia and Danone-AQUA to social and environmental aspects, including the effort to make Indonesia cleaner, Kartasasmita remarked.

He said he hoped that investment in the plastic bottle recycling plant will strengthen the recycling ecosystem as well as the circular economy and boost plastic waste collection efforts in Indonesia.

The construction of the plastic bottle recycling plant also aligns with the government's efforts to achieve the target of reducing plastic in the sea by up to 70 percent by 2025, he added.

Supporting Go-Online MSMEs, Surge This Year Builds 580 Edge Data Centers On Java Island
source : Link

209349040_498783888096485_2278281473228645371_n.jpg

JAKARTA - PT Solusi Sinergi Digital Tbk. (WIFI) or Surge is currently in preparation for the construction of thousands of edge data centers which will be spread across the island of Java. Carrying the concept of edge data center 1 or close to the location of the end user, thousands of these data centers will be established in a number of train stations and warehouses of Village Unit Cooperatives (KUD) spread throughout Java.

The first two locations of Surge's edge data center, namely Manggarai Station and Cikarang Station, will start operating in August 2021. As an initial stage, the company targets to present 580 edge data centers by the end of 2021.

Surge CEO Hermansjah Haryono said, “The growth of startups, entrepreneurship, and the growth of the digital economy cannot be separated from the support of connectivity and other digital infrastructure. Moreover, the growth of the digital economy in the future will be strongly supported by MSMEs, startups and people outside the Metropolitan City. This is of course in line with the government's national digital transformation acceleration agenda which focuses on infrastructure development and the digitization of MSMEs as well as the growth of local startups. Supported by the Surge ecosystem, such as large-capacity fiber optic cables along the railroad tracks and thousands of warehouse locations in collaboration with INKUD spread across Java, Surge's edge data center will be closer to the community and even reach small cities to provide fast connectivity, high quality and capacity.”

The expansion of fiber optic cooperation with PT KAI as well as the digitization of INKUD will utilize station and warehouse locations as edge data centers as Point of Presence (POP). Consisting of 580 train stations and 1000 KUD warehouses, the edge data center Surge will have two types of sizes, namely 2x3 meters and 4x6 meters containing data rooms with a total capacity of 2-20 racks (server racks) and a total electrical power capacity of 100 kWh - 300 kWh. The construction of this Tier 2 edge data center will have a backup power source equipped with a backup generator and Uninterruptible Power Source (UPS). (LM)

Those 🇪🇺 commie are practising protectionist and covering it up with their usual hypocrisy.
LOL Yea, some people need to realize that in International relations there is no such a thing as free lunch. Give n take, trade off, are needed to get what we want. You want investment? You better be ready to shoulder some of their workers, their materials, their loan, etc. Its a matter of how we calculate the trade off and balance sheet. China, Europe, Japan, Korea, etc, they all do that kind of move. Its up to us and our leverage to counter it, and sometime we need lobbyist as well to get what we want .
