@Madokafc IIRC you said that you are interested with Los Angeles class, maybe we can get 1 boat with $600 mil without the weapons.

Yes, SURYO

If it is really Suryo I wonder if it will be bundled with new submarine. Maybe the talk also touch this subject, so the overall money involved would be more than $600 mil. Maybe they will use Italian approach in FREMM deal.

I like how certain rules only apply to certain sections of this forum 😄. Consider yourselves lucky Indo's. Fun is not allowed elsewhere...:cautious:

On a serious note, don't wait on 2nd hand Turkish subs. They need them more than anyone else.

All the potential candidates for second hand submarine worth $600 mil have been quashed by various members since yesterday.

Apart from one.

Well then you should also know those subs are not for export.
Well some country get their Type 212 tho, who knows if ID Navy want to snap-buying one of Italian Type 212 sub.

You know its getting weirder for me, while the economic near collapse, the goverment seems easily spent Millions of Dollar in elsewhere (i dont know wherr the money coming from). But somebody may be right, this time is a perfemt momentum to boos defencr sector albeit still "berjalan tertatih".

You know strict rule didnt work well on Indonesian people, they need a bigger prtion of tolerantion ratio.

It's not like it gonna ruin our discussion in any way.

For even Soryu, the loan still over budget for single hull, furthermore if the rumor to plrocure sub within 1800 to 2800 range the Soryu possibly out of board.

But, Taking Type 212 and Dolphin 3 into account still possible to be bought.

I think the mast still have some space to be installed with Both of TR 74C and SR 47AG.

IMHO, installing CIWS is optional in case of emergency to convert PC 40 to be missile ship.

Currently my brain still asking why in first place Navy didn't install exocet on every missile boat instead of instaling vast option of missile ???

Which country willing to sold their U214 class? U212 and Dolphin? That's tantamount of impossible task

Suryo or Oyasuek is more reasonably, as they look at surface displacement weight around 2800 tonnes

I would love to have pre loved LA class, but they are still not for sale and considered Indonesian maintenance record, it is quite suicide to jump into Nuclear powered Submarine right now

Barracuda?
barracuda is nuclear, too advance for just a intrim sub (also its not fully operational in france). that also rule out attack-class because they still in design stage and aussie (possibly) would pressure naval group not to sell those to our.

also its expensive AF, its 1bill+ USD.

Dunno mann, i just flooring my opinion. 😪

I didn't give much care about what kind of alutsista bought as long as the stuff is landing in Indonesia.

For some reasoun you got the point, all Type 21x user is currently in dire need of their submarine.

I will be glad if it was one of the Soryu.
If you talking about nuclear attack sub in "600 juta dollar" range, is it any possible sale from other country outside US of A?

After Nanggala case, i would prefer for TNI AL to stay out of Nuclear powered Submarine which needed more rigorous discipline for most of the time of their operational and at docks which something TNI AL and MoD doesn't have at the moment.
