Yeah, and the Germans also totally did not target any civilians during the Warsaw Ghetto uprising, only "terrorists", right?. After all, the German commander claimed that he offered safe passage for Women and Children, but I guess by your logic the jewish fighters just deliberately endangered their civilians in order to increase their own survival chances.
Unlike Hamas people in warsaw ghetto never had uniforms or any armed forces at all. Gaza is controlled by Hamas for 20 years. Those who invaded Israel on 7 oct were professional militants trained since childhood:

They deliberately changed their uniforms to civil clothes because they know that IDF does not target civilians.

❗Iran could be attacked at any moment.

Some Israeli sources report that the US has notified Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE of the possibility of an imminent attack on Iran.

Media and social media reports indicate a major buildup of US, Israeli, and UK military forces, which could be deployed for potential joint strikes against Iran within the next 36 hours. The current deployment is being compared to what was observed during the 12-Day War.

According to these reports, at least 482 aircraft are deployed in the CENTCOM and likely EUCOM area of responsibility, including 418 fighter and attack aircraft, 57 tankers, and intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and early warning assets. The total capacity of the aircraft for aerial refueling is estimated at approximately 5.37 million pounds of fuel.

The US Air Force, a US Navy carrier strike group, the Royal Air Force, and the Israeli Air Force are jointly deploying large fleets of fighter aircraft, tankers, and support assets.

The US Navy's forces in the region include an aircraft carrier, several destroyers, submarines, amphibious and logistics vessels, Coast Guard cutters, and more than 1,000 vertical launch vehicles, demonstrating its readiness to conduct sustained, high-intensity operations.

General Brad Cooper, commander of US Central Command, arrived in Israel on Saturday and is expected to meet with senior Israeli defense officials. Cooper's visit is aimed at coordinating the response to a possible attack on Iran.

Is this the price we have to pay for liberating Syria, by US retreating from Syria soil.
Means no pro Iranian actions.

When iran was spreading shia sectarianism terrorism across the region and supporting all of Turkiyes regional enemies, i never heard one iranian ever talk about positive actions towards Turkiye. In fact we only ever see the iranians joining with the west in their propaganda against the Turkish people.

Now iranian factions have been pretty much destroyed across the entire region and their own nation is open to being bent over, its not for us to worry about iranians, its for us to worry about how do we achieve what we achieved in syria. That whatever is to come next, that it is pro Turkiye.

Either way the iranians only have themselves to blame, they played the geopolitical game so badly that it looks like its reaching its natural conclusion. All the arrogant talk, all the boasting about what they will or can do, in reality they exposed themselves to be another banana republic.

If Iran gets destroyed (not wishing for it because I don't want more refugees in my Country :D) then Türkiye must take over South Azerbaijan, can't play the long game like in Syria.

Their must be a reason why US wants Zengesur corridor.
Between Europe and Central Asia lie three countries that could serve as transit points: Russia to the north, Iran to the south, and Azerbaijan in between. Russia's borders with Europe are almost completely closed. Transit from East to West through Iran is unreliable. The most suitable route runs through Azerbaijan. But the borders of Armenia, where the corridor would run, are under Russian control.
The West, including the United States, wants to push Russia out of the South Caucasus and enter the Caspian region.
Furthermore, the United States wants to reach China's western borders via the Caspian Sea (although the US is somewhat outdated and losing its influence in the world, it still wants to be the "third neighbor" everywhere).
The region contains vast reserves of oil, gas, uranium, and, among other things, the rare earth minerals that Trump loves so much.
China and Central Asia also need this corridor. In fact, everyone needs it: Turkey, us, and Armenia. Except Russia and Iran. That's why they are against it.
Russia desperately needs a corridor to the south, to India. So we tell them: if you want to reach the Persian Gulf, go only through the Zengezur Gap. We offer the same to Iran: if you want a route to Russia and the Black Sea region, go only through the Zengezur Gap. Maritime connections between Russia and Iran are poorly developed, and the Central Asian Turkic states don't particularly care about transit (from north to south).
Therefore, due to wars and instability in the north (Russia) and south (Iran), the Zengezur Gap has acquired strategic importance.

Turkey plans buffer zone inside Iran if Tehran gov’t collapses

Figures. Iraq and Syria were nightmares mainly because of kurdish separatists being allowed to form statelets. This is just a declaration that we will preemptively go in to not let something like that happen. If we sit passively (again) then an 'Eastern Kurdistan' will come into exitance and we will be bogged down another 20 years trying to contain another nest of rats. We have to go in this time.

Bonus South Azerbaijan if god allows.

It seems that Shias of Iraq want Maliki back. I think that this Safavid experiment, which was cancer to Islamic world will be over pretty soon.
I understand implications of war in Iran, but among bad things, there could be good things. One of those is rendering that cancerous entity to stateless and unofficial fenomen.
I don't think that it would be good for Azerbaijan to receive the influx of those fanatics from the Southern side. Too much time has passed when they were in single country. Problems outweigh the benefits.
Real chaos would engulf Azerbaijan.
Turkiye and Azerbaijan should mine the borders as soon as possible.
Who knows? Maybe USA still have use from Mullahstan? So they might keep it a bit longer? For what, I don't know

Azerbaijan would absolutely back Turkey in this case, not only would it prevent continued abuse of our ethnic brethren but if Turkey controlled South Azerbaijan it would also mean an end to Iranian drug cartels attempting to smuggle goods through Azerbaijan since they commonly use the land border.

I can't exactly speak for south Azerbaijanis but in the event that Iran does break apart, I think them joining Turkey would be better than reuniting with the republic of Azerbaijan because from my experience south Azerbaijanis tend to have more in common with Turks than us, culturally speaking.

Plus it could help boost Turkey's TFR since south Azerbaijanis have lots of kids on average and would likely explode in population size under a government that isn't actively trying to suppress them.

Well, Azeris from Azerbaijan joined Nuri Pasha, Azeris from Tabriz didn't do shit, when Vehip Pasha was in Tebriz. I understand, it was a long time ago . I don't think that this would be good idea , South Azerbaijan joined Turkiye? In any case, they are more pro Mullahs then Iranians .
Of course, it would be even worse for Azerbaijan proper.
At some stage , people need to understand that sometimes when people are parted away, there's no practical return.
I am sure that there are some good and useful people there, but no. Not really. Iraqi Turkmen, who are Shia ain't friends of Turkey, afterall they come into existence as , only to oppose Ottoman Empire, that's their reason D' etre from day one. It has been good on for 600 years. It is too long.
Even Nadir Shah could had brought any sense into them. He was a Turk but Sunni . Simple and practical thing really, I am not writing this from sectarian point of view but simply pragmatism.
People don't need to be of the same nationality, even religion but they should have similar minds in regards of many things. This is not the case here.

Dragi susjedu, I am also of the opinion that there would be all sorts of scenarios. It seems to me that this would open up many more questions than it would solve. I have not come across any information that Iranian Azeris are rebelling against Iran, moreover, the leaders of the current Iranian government are from the Azeri minority.

I wonder if those various Turk empires could have seen today if they would have spent so much time warring with each other.

Azerbaijan would be guarded but hopeful, minor actions only.

Turks of iran are well integrated and while culturally repressed somehow, they are not a savage mountain folk like some others, so they wouldn't rebel and cause ruckus at first opportunity. A scenario where South Azerbaijan was to form a seperate political body would be a scenario where central authority of iran completely disintegrates. And even then the new body politic would be somewhat close to whatever is left from the central government. Kurds, Baluchis and Ahvaz Arabs would be the instigators of violent separatism before it comes to Turks of South Azerbaijan.

I don't think north and south parts of Azerbaijan can realistically unite in the foreseeable future. Those are two seperate countries with paths diverged nearly two centuries ago. It would cause immense problems to try to force them under the same umbrella. Just think how hard germans tried to integrate east germany and how it worked out (protip; look at AfD election maps). Those two are way more different than eastern and western germans. I also don't think they would want to unite with Turkey. We also wouldn't want that by the way. It would take a colossal effort to integrate them and even then it wouldn't work.

The dream scenario is a tri-state loose federation of western Oghuz between the three states, Turkey and two Azerbaijans. We are talking about 100-120 million people + peripherals. That's superpower territory.

Exactly, you are right. And if 2 uncles of mother could have get frozen in Sarikamis for the people who weren't citizens of Sublime State ( that was the official name of Ottoman Empire and that is how I'm Bosna we called) then I would expect something more.
Unfortunately, life has more questions than the answers.
The first group of Islamic Republican Guards which were in Bosnia were brilliant people and they helped us more than Turkiye but I will quote an officer from IRGC " Our government sent the best that they had , now we are recalled, completely different people will come" I know who said that where and to whom.
I truly wish that things turned differently, I have known some truly beautiful and excellent people from that side, but their voices got suppressed in the wind. Simply, the moment that they turned their back at Khoyali massacre, I lost trust in them. Mind you, I myself was very busy with the Serbs at that time.
It truly saddens me that I have to say all of this, it really does.

I never look history in ifs and buts , mostly because many occurrences in history are exactly like human nature. One French historian had opinion that Ottomans should had concentrate in destroying Safavids then Mughals . After that with concentrated forces, occupy Europe. Maybe he was right. But sometimes it is just luck . At some stage in WW1 , Ottoman Army was 60 km from Tehran. If Enver Pasha Rahimullahi was on the victorious side in ww1, then Iran would be banana republic and South Azerbaijan would be Eastern Eyelet. But it didn't happen and we have these realities .
You can be with some who is in his character, outlook etc similar to you.
