Iran is totally getting played in the talks, Iran said for the negotiations to happen, Iran demands frozen assets before talks. Instead of getting frozen assets before the talks, Iran is in worse conditions, the US merely agrees to releasing the assets, as it agreed to the 10 points of Iranian demands. US is now trying to tie releasing the frozen assets with Iran not able to close the straits, the only path to Iranian victory.

It is not possible to stop a country with a coastline with the strait from menacing ships using the strait if it has suitable weapons. The US cannot destroy all Iran's drones. Iran needs to choose not to menace the strait.

Before Israel and the US attacked Iran there was no problem. Now the problem has arisen because of the aggression, the US needs to think very hard how to fix the problem. I hope it can think of a fix.

Iran held the upper hand during the war. So much so it had a ten point demand be way to peace. Those ten points were total Iranian victory.

trump agreed to it because Iran had the US in defeat and trump is violating many of the 10 point plan cease fire because trump only wanted a cease fire to declare victory while getting oil and gas out of the Gulf. trump never intended to abide by the 10 point plan, trump wanted to turn events to "Iran started the war", after the cease fire that trump is not abiding to.

Iran will need to recoup the costs of war firstly, if a consortium of the countries which participated in the aggression against Iran can re-constitute their damages (this would include the UK which provided basing), then that would be a start.

Bad News! Agreement not reached with Iran, says Vance

You are missing nuclear enrichment, basically the war will resume no matter what. Unless Iran decides to concede and become Libya 2.0.

As for your coalition statement, no countries beforehand demonstrated the will to hop on to the crazy train with the US, nothing has changed materially for those countries to alter their positions.

well US has no way of getting that material out without a ground invasion, which is not gonna happen.

As for coalition, who knows, I can see countries be willing to join coalition if Iran continues to blockade the Strait even if there is a ceasefire, otherwise it will cause economic damage to many countries.

From where I stand, there are not much rivalries left in the region. There are only Israel, Iran and Turkey left. When Iran out of the picture, there will only be Turkey and Israel.
