Is more aligned with Iran; this means that in order to gain leverage in Lebanon, you need to have really good relations with Iran whixh is something that would never happen as Iran regards Turkey as a prime enemy, competitior, and a hindrance to its Shia master-race theory and the re-rise of the Fatimiyads empirewasted our time trying to normalize with Egypt and Syria, all while Greeks made leeway with the lebanese gov't. surely there must be a way to turn this around?

Italians are historically very good at buttering up their rivals with a friendly facade - see Italian merchants and the Ottoman/Byzantine Empires.
Turkish influence in Libya is great for Italy because they get to reap the rewards without doing shit and they don't even have to share with France now.
